EXCELLENT video - THANK YOU for posting this my mate is have airbag problems on his corsa that nobody can seem to fix - so we can maybe try this on his 👍
Thank you as this is the issue i have with Corsa. The seatbelt and engine management leds were removed. Got cluster repaired but seat belt light staying on hence no MOT. Not got access to test module as you have but will try to clean contacts on the ECU.
@@Wildhat8 I was just about to say... that the seat belt could be something else... Hope it works for you! 🤞 Thank you for watching and for your comment!
Great job Sherlock, great deduction work there mate I have a similar problem in my daughter's Corsa d. It triggere the flashing lights when someone touches or sits in the passenger seat?? I know there is a wiring block under the seats and they have seat recognition and pyrotechnic pre tensioners.
A while ago I mentioned the problem I had with the car I used to own, a fiat 500/. Ford Ka version. That would cut out the engine at 70 miles per hour and only show generic misfire code for 2 cylinders.. it took six months to fully repair, after 3 dealerships involved. ECU went off for testing and came back entirely broken, although they had said it was working perfectly... Eventually the ECU testers were threatened with court action, they both refunded their fee and pay the fee towards a new ECU, the new ECU actually solved the issue, most other things were replaced trying to win the parts bingo.. such as cam tone wheels, of course the oxygen sensors, plugs coils wires.. ended up costing £1,000 in parts, labour was way more, solicitors fees, this car was under warranty when I bought it used, most of this happened after I had rejected the car, has it been in for repair 3-months at the time and I gave up, other things on that car made me think that the ECU was at fault.. the stop-start was entirely random, didn't apply the rules that was set out in the handbook for activation, and almost everytime activated would restart after about 5 seconds.. annoyingly it didn't remember it last setting so it was default to on.... I've only just found out how the story ended so I thought I'd share
