You don't need to be that high? For example the Weathered Crests & many of the Runed ones are accessed very early in each Renown track, same for the 584 gear.
Yup I’m with you. This reminds me how much free time I just don’t have. The problem is all the different endgame content just isn’t fun. The crafting system is broken, absolutely not beginner friendly. The upgrade system.. why? They got rid of valor because they didn’t like badges. Now you have to watch multiple yt videos to understand ain’t no one have time for that. What happened to gear coming from boss kills? You can tell how much Diablo has influenced wow endgame. All the tiers, currencies, and never ending upgrades feels bad for casuals. It’s crazy to think the classic versions of the game are more friendly to casuals than retail is now.
It's when the crafting section starts i got lost. The system is a mess. Gather crests to give to an enchanter then get a crafter to do some crafting using those quests, if you have the gear? What happened to the auction house?
It's really not that hard. In the time it took you to write a comment on this video you could have read a guide on wowhead. Understanding these types of systems really isn't a case of putting in hours of work, it's literally 5-10 min of reading. I understand the idea that you just want to play the game and not have to rely on third-party tools or guides but they have to find a consensus between making it convoluted and tiered enough so that people who put in more time enjoy the progression and making it easy enough that they do not alienate the gamer dads. Is the system perfect? No. But its a whole lot more engaging than the justice/valor system, while still being easy enough that you can understand it if you put in 5-10 mins of reading.
My problem is that getting a bigger gear number isnt intresting. It doesnt change how I play ky class, it just makes it easier to kill certain things. Not saying it was better in classic, quite the contrary. Im fairly new to wow and I am starting to find things I do not enjoy. Thanks for the guide.

It changes whatever you have to the stats of the tier piece. Yeah he said it kinda odd. he really meant to say look at what you are converting to and pick the best stats of that.
there are many things whitch are not that easy actually: farming reputation sucks and take weeks. iam below 10 with every faction. all my guildmates also hate farming reputation. buying gear with valorstones is waaaaay to pricy so this wo t count. delves are awful. doing them alone is hard as a non tank or plate class. farming crest by flying around is okay but crafting gear with them is also pricy. ive less than 10k overall so this option wont count aswell. world quest are also tough if you are low geared. my solutions are: get yourself carried through a key by paying to get the weekly chest and do the weekly gear. furthermore just spam dungeons snd jope to get lucky
The fact that this explanation took more than 10 minutes shows how needlessly conplex it is. Completely fair to say that if you are a hardcore player this is likely easy and straight forward. But as someone thats not been hardcore since Cataclysm, this is still waaaay too time consuming and convoluted to even really engage with.
My main still isnt 600 as of right now and im watching this video a week or so after this video came out... Havent watched this video yet though. Clearly im missing something this video knows and I don't lmao
Or you can just buy cheap gear, run lfr, do t8 delves and THEN fill out the rest. Or even run normal before then. I get into t8 delves with my alts around 570~. Nowadays groups just want people to fill out.
I do appreciate that WoW is making it easier.. Just doesn't feel that great given a FFXIV oriented perspective lol. Which before made no sense, but given Warbands is aggressively approaching a 'almost' (FF) job like experience, isn't so weird to feel anymore. (From a strictly WoW perspective though this is probably the most buttery smooth it has ever been :D) Massive implications, so not an easy suggestion without a lot of forethought, but I wish the gear /manager/ was more like FFXIV... If I get cool gear my (FFXIV) Paladin can wear, my (FFXIV) Warrior can wear it too (as most things are role based). Naturally WoWs lockouts are not designed for this, so that's where a bunch of train carts would need to be organized lol. Most 'least destructive' might be some sort of Armoury system (like FFXIV has), where each character can OPT into the warband armoury. All characters that opt in share lockouts (leaving would lose you access to all armoury items until you rejoin, add a timer to prevent players dancing on / off). Once in the armoury system all characters that are opted in can share all soulbound equipment, with perhaps a special bank tab you can assign. An extension later might be quests too (though some reputations can never sync like that without issue), then progression is 99.9% job like (move the story forward on Paladin, switch to Hunter and keep moving the story from where you left off on Paladin). More particularly, a new 'armoury' equipment manager that, like FFXIV, you can load with gear and wear simultaneously on all characters part of that system (Paladin and Death Knight for example might share the same armor). There are still other concerns, but FFXIV had those too.. for example if you wanted to be super BIS in the game you did sometimes need to worry about materia (there is a bias between jobs of the same role, here in WoW there are set pieces that are 'job' specific). But as a casual player it was amazingly straight forward, easy to manage, and made progression / "alt"ness feel really smooth. Play Warrior, get gear for Dark Knight, play Dark Knight, improve my Paladin. Get super cool gear on Black Mage, give it to my Summoner when they get to the same level. Even switching specs in WoW feels funky without an armoury just because I'm like "great what addon can make this not suck" (where in FFXIV you save a gear set that remembers the stored equipment in the armoury, I'm aware there is an equipment manager and with macros to associate talents it can feel better but the item storage concern remains.. I've almost sold equipment a few times because it was in my general bag lol). In FFXIV you did get locked out at high end content for all jobs (get gear on WAR, well you're not getting SMN gear this week then), but it is what it is.. there has to be some sort of limitation. I'm sure you could form it more, addressing transmog (FFXIV had this concern too), etc, but uh.. this is a youtube comment and is already too long :P.
please dont make wow like ff's nightmare of a job system please please please. My main paladin already got 23 tier pieces for my alts who haven't even been leveled to max level what more do we need
@@ChichiNaka To each their own, but I prefer not having to obtain the gear again and again. Especially as the way you're talking it sounds like you play substantially more, so for you, and like the youtuber here, it's a non-issue because you play decent amount. For someone who plays here and there, such a system is a godsend. Although I wouldn't say it's the best / can't be improved. Also I did say OPT in. If you want to 'main' all your alts, then go for it.. I honestly don't want to see that option go away as that is extra content to some people. For me it's an annoyance to having multiple characters. Unlike say in FFXIV where I get one tank gear and I get tank gear for all of them. It manages easier and is way more efficient (for someone who doesn't play a lot).
I played the event yesterday. It was so much stuff, but so little content. I did not feel anything while encountering different Worldbosses or Dungeons from the past. It‘s just bland. No „Fun“ , no „interaction“ and no love. I closed the game

Yeah. Always worth remember the asshole ratio in YT comments is never representative of an actual viewerbase because of negativity bias. WoW's been around so long that it's created a lot of bitter people who tend to hatewatch.
This is exactly why I stepped away from wows subreddit and certain creators. A lot of stuff on social media is just an echo chamber of people shitting on x, y, z.. to the point it makes me not enjoy the things I like and that’s just silly.
yeah, if you agree you're less likely to leave a comment. but if you disagree, you probably want to let the creator know how big of a dunce they are, but then fail to bring any compelling arguments and just come with insults.
gearing in this expansion has never been this bad. i dont know if u farm for gilded or runed quest including valorstones. after u have full 619 gear runes is a useless currency. NGL BFA was better for gearing alts where it only used VALOR points to upgrade

there are many things whitch are not that easy actually:
farming reputation sucks and take weeks. iam below 10 with every faction. all my guildmates also hate farming reputation. buying gear with valorstones is waaaaay to pricy so this wo t count.
delves are awful. doing them alone is hard as a non tank or plate class.
farming crest by flying around is okay but crafting gear with them is also pricy. ive less than 10k overall so this option wont count aswell.
world quest are also tough if you are low geared.
my solutions are:
get yourself carried through a key by paying to get the weekly chest and do the weekly gear. furthermore just spam dungeons snd jope to get lucky
How do you get your camera angle so far out while fighting zexfir(sp)
Spoilers, dark ranger is still behind sentinel and leader of the pack.
Yah we need this because blizzard keeps killing our characters with nerfs
I don't seem to have anywhere near enough crystals to buy the rep gear on any of my alts.
Nowadays groups just want people to fill out.
blizzard have an easy mode for content creators especially if you are on twitch
I'm going to have to write ask of this down lol
Gearing in WoD, Legion and even BfA was easier than this soulless grind.
I do appreciate that WoW is making it easier.. Just doesn't feel that great given a FFXIV oriented perspective lol. Which before made no sense, but given Warbands is aggressively approaching a 'almost' (FF) job like experience, isn't so weird to feel anymore. (From a strictly WoW perspective though this is probably the most buttery smooth it has ever been :D)
Massive implications, so not an easy suggestion without a lot of forethought, but I wish the gear /manager/ was more like FFXIV...
FF14 this FF14 that, FF14 and it's players can suck my chub!
I know some comments here are negative but kelani made a similar video and most people seem to be happy , I don’t know what happened here 😂
You guys have renown?!?! lol mine is in the dumpster
I played the event yesterday. It was so much stuff, but so little content. I did not feel anything while encountering different Worldbosses or Dungeons from the past. It‘s just bland. No „Fun“ , no „interaction“ and no love.
I closed the game
Great video as always! :)
Oh shit, i have that desk at work, lol.
Class colour on health bar, how???
Sure, but try getting 600+ when you get multiples of the same items in your caches or delve rewards. Extremely misleading title and video lol.
Renown is so tedious and looks like a battle pass. Preferred the old system much more
Have GONE, not have went …. Jesus
Am I the only one who wishes gear took more time to build up and was more meaningful and less convoluted
I personally think gear acquisition is fine but yeah. All of the currencies and levels are dumb
Its still gated behind knowledge.. I play this game since forever, came back last week and half of this was unknown to me. But yeah, my renown is too low anyway, so this guide doesnt work. Im even below 10 with basically every faction.
This doesn't require Renown, renown is just a useful boost if you have some.
You can gather Weathered Crests in no time by flying through the Azerite balls!
Yes you are lol
How to make people STOP playing WOW FASTER...........
This new patch has been absolutely attrocious so far.
I don't think your poll is even remotely close to the average players. As a hyper casual my highest one is 13 lol.
Hey gearing is never easier JUST BE RENOWNED with all the factions and your all set.
Reading the comments i feel like nobody wants to make wow players lives miserable more than other wow players.
Yeah. Always worth remember the asshole ratio in YT comments is never representative of an actual viewerbase because of negativity bias. WoW's been around so long that it's created a lot of bitter people who tend to hatewatch.
This is exactly why I stepped away from wows subreddit and certain creators. A lot of stuff on social media is just an echo chamber of people shitting on x, y, z.. to the point it makes me not enjoy the things I like and that’s just silly.
yeah, if you agree you're less likely to leave a comment. but if you disagree, you probably want to let the creator know how big of a dunce they are, but then fail to bring any compelling arguments and just come with insults.
youtube comment section is basically bitter 30-40 year olds who are sad that they wont be kids anymore and wants everyone to wallow in their misery.
@@BellularGaming You sound like the most bitter person in all of these comments its wild.
Or you could be like me and hit level 80 with your alts and then never play with them again
gearing in this expansion has never been this bad. i dont know if u farm for gilded or runed quest including valorstones. after u have full 619 gear runes is a useless currency. NGL BFA was better for gearing alts where it only used VALOR points to upgrade
except once you're AT 619 in every slot, you can turn Useless Crests into more useful ones.
Great guide thanks bel
Fml this is crazy 😢 just dinged and I’m out. Crafting is so annoying!
You don't need to craft?
Agreed. They ruined a cool part of the game with all the crafting tables, knowledge and orders that no one ever has posted. I swear orders only work if you are in a guild
I got a rock!!
I am renown 8 or something
Can we not keep encouraging more and more of the FAST FAST FAST mentality that is literally one of the things draining the fun out of the game? I know this is for alts but still, everything is just gogogo on EVERY SINGLE THING in this game. And i play this since 2006... never before have i had to take breaks from the game because everything feels like a rush rush. People dont play the game to chill from life, they turned it into another extension of life routine
this isn't encouraging that, it's a guide to help people who would like to get another character into the sort of content they enjoy
$120 for auction house mount. What a rip off.
25 renown? I’m not even 10 renown with anyone yet..
I've went through about 100 comments that say that and also myself are in the 10/12 range. So I'd say that's the actual average lol. Rep grinds are for virgins anyway.
I got to max lvl on my warband char and quit because I have no desire to track eighty currencies. Just make everything cost gold jfc. Valor stones, weathered nascent enchanted magic crests etc etc, that sounds so incredibly tedious just to say, let alone figuring out what to do to get which and what to do with them. Barf. Thanks for the guide and all but you lost me halfway through.
Turn down the volume on your outro at 12:07 I thought an explosion occurred
Id rather buy the gear with real money an avoid the hoops.
Lol renown 9 here...
Ah...another 'easy' guide to gear. Assuming you have the renown, access to the convoluted crests and renown, coupled with access to the awful crafting system or large amounts of gold.
Not sure who this is aimed at, but not a filthy casual like me lol.
Poggies
This saves you hours of playtime you'd waste on playing the game you pay 150 bucks per year! what a great time to be alive as a wow gamer!
That's fucking stupid lol. It's for people who want to get fresh alts established quick so they're able to play the content they enjoy.
@@BellularGamingget em Bell
@@BellularGaming Clown.
If you are renown 25 with all factions lool.
great insights as usual. still got some alts that need my attention, this will come in handy.
"in hours"
Im level 4-5 with every renown 😂
so in other words you dont play the game, sucks to be you.
yeah they should just let you do one quest and jump you to 20, who needs to play the game you just want the numbers go up dopamine
@@Freestyle80 well im just not intrested in quests that have 0 challenge to them and make me Fall asleep. I want to be challenged by the Contest im doing and improve at the Game.
I had no idea having low renown could make clowns so mad 😂
@@zentalia8133 yeah wtf I just thought its funny cause bellular said the average is 17-18 🤣🤣
No thanks, hc again soon
okay but how to get to 80 dude lmao
Play the game? Play thru the story lines, do quests, run dungeons, etc
jesus sham you move your head a lot hahaha
