literally for me the biggest block is the body pains. upper and lower back pain. he's right i can only sit for about 15 minutes before my back begins to stiffen up. It does get to a point where you can enter a space where you dont pay attention to it. regardless though imagine if i was fully loose I'd be able to acutally sit for 1 hour at least. that would be awesome.
IT will take some time :) be patient and persistent
Informative video
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
This video was much needed ❤🙏
So glad to hear 😇🙏🏼🌟
Thank you so much for this video. I have also shared with my Isha friends who are preparing for Samyama. However, I have one question. I hope you will be able to help with that.
I am preparing for Jan 2024 Samyama. I started my Samyama prep from around 10th Oct. So I am giving myself approx 3 months of focused and committed prep time.
The biggest challenge where I am struggling with is sitting for long durations in ardha sidhasana. I badly need some tips and guidance on how to sit for long hours in ardha sidhasana. Please suggest tips and techniques to increase my ardha sidhasana to a minimum of 2 hours. Currently it is somewhere around 45 mins. I am facing two main challenges:
a. Knees hurting.
b. Leg going numb (in my case its usually my right leg going numb and becoming uncomfortably painful. The left leg is fine for much longer than the right leg).
Thanks for watching anna 🙏🏼 I will make another video on this in the near future!
Until then there are some things that helped me:
1. I once asked a Hatha Yoga Teacher this question and she told me that I can do the preparatory Asanas for up to 10 minutes separately next to the Sadhana we do. This helped me loosen up my hips, hips are one of the most common areas people get very tense.
2. Angamardana - Angamardana really helps again with loosening up the limbs, especially the hip area.
3. Try to do more activity while sitting in Ardha Sidhasana. Like watching movies, cutting vegetables, eating and so on.
4. In regards to your knees, I suggest you do some Knee Mobility Exercises, you can find them on RUclips and they will help you as well. This will take maybe 15min and does not need an empty stomach condition.
Hope this helpes 🙏🏼

I sit for 2 hours continuously without pain after 25 - 30 days of shambhavi .
Initially ardhsidhasan was frustration for me bcz i had trained myself in lotus pose for 4 hours and now this half legged pose and tucked my feet btw bla bla .now i can sit in ardhsidhasan and trying for 4 hours sitting in it

Thank you so much Annaa ❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks a lot for watching 😄😄😄
how much does angamardhana help
Thanks for your question. I remember Gangesh mentioned Angamardana as a powerful way to loosen the limbs. It helps to increase your flexibility. Especially the hip area tends to be tense for most people and Angamardana can help with that. This is not Isha advice but what I personally feel. Another thing is, Angamardana is a very intense exercise, it's not really Yoga so it helps to prepare your mind as well. Any form of exercise tends to calm the mind because you are using the stored energy in the body. If one does not do any exercise then energy can become stagnant. I felt it helped me for sure. I would say try to do a Mandala and see if it helps you in any way.
Sadguru has done a lot of good by spreading ancient Indian wisdom, however his motive is not compassion but fame. (In THAT sense he is a con guru).

How so? Can you elaborate on your view 🙏🏼
