Namaskaram Vaishu Anna and Nishant Anna 🙏. Thank you very much for this podcast - super helpful. I have already shared with my Samyama friends. I am doing Samyama in Jan 2024. I am hoping you will be able to address my questions: 1. Food related questions: a. Is Jalapeno okay as substitute for green chilli? b. Can 100% cocoa powder in unsweetened form be consumed? I generally mix it with warm almond milk and jaggery and consume it like a hot chocolate drink. c. I have 2 meals a day, and 1 meal is fully raw. However, I can’t manage to have my raw meal during the day at work. Hence my dinner is raw. My dinner is generally some fruits followed by a raw salad (cucumber, carrot, cherry tomatoes, and green capsicum with some coriander leaves). Is this okay please? d. Is vegan curd okay? e. Is boiled fresh sweet corn okay to consume? Will it be considered raw food or is it cooked food? 2. Sadhana related questions: a. Is practising shakti chalana kriya twice a day mandatory? In our PSM, I remember it was mentioned once a day is must. Twice is recommended if possible. b. Is there a progression to reach the ideal position while doing Hatha Yoga - for example placing the palm fully on the ground during padahastasana, placing the heels fully on the ground during parvatasana, forehead fully touching the knee during janu sirsasana. In all these asanas, I cannot reach the ideal pose. 3. The biggest challenge where I am struggling with is sitting for long durations in ardha sidhasana. I badly need some tips and guidance on how to sit for long hours in ardha sidhasana. Please suggest tips and techniques to increase my ardha sidhasana to a minimum of 1.5 to 2 hours. Currently it is somewhere around 45 mins. I am facing two main challenges: a. Knees hurting. b. Leg going numb (in my case its usually my right leg going numb and becoming uncomfortably painful).
Namaskaram Annas Thank you for an insightful podcast. Lot of points to remember and apply. Was too curious to know about food and sadhana and found the best podcast 🙏

@@SoothingHerbsYou think all those who do samyama are monks? And what is that disrespect to Shambhavi practice? You are making it sound like it's very low level practice🧐
Not at all. Shambhavi can take you all the way to moksha as Sadhguru has said however it’s more accessible that samyama as the prep for samyama is quite involved and has many practices that you have to dedicate to. Otherwise you will not be able to experience properly the Samyama and you will draw on Sadhguru’s energy in a wrong way. Thanks for great video annas!!
I have one question - should we avoid sex and mastrubation during the preparation?
If you are asking this question probably you’re missing the point of the samyama. Why do you want to do samyama? Just do shambhavi and live your life.
He has given Shambhavi to help live more well in the world so that practice is enough for those who find it hard to incorporate the discipline of preparing for Samyama.
No one giving prize for Samyama this is not a race. There is a sadhana for everyone take what is suitable and don’t create a race condition for yourself
@ please don’t project your thought samskaras onto my words

He is talking all the things I already do because of digestion issues and the veggies he said not to use I dislike already.
He has amassed wealth through samyama.what one has gained from practising samyama.if you are experienced samyama sataka you have amazing powers, how many of his disciples possess this,he himself lacks this how can his disciples be?if anybody challenge this first provide his skill set otherwise keep quiet.
