I knew USC was gunna have some growing pains, but I was certain UCLA was going to turn it around from the start with Chip at the helm and idk but I don’t have a good feeling about either teams this year battle for LA might be the battle to get bowl eligibility the way it’s looking.
USC lost to two power 5 teams on the road, Stanford being top 10. UCLA getting blown out by G5 teams in their own stadium... don’t compare them. UCLA lost their two easiest games on the schedule. USC will rebound with easier games. USC at home against Pac 12 teams is still undefeated under Helton so they should rebound with home games. I don’t know I see a sure win for UCLA with their remaining schedule.
Alfred Pasly agreed Chip also inherited a pretty decent team when he took over as HC for Oregon. UCLA AD has been shall I say lackluster with how they seem to deal with their main sports example Football and basketball. But your right it’ll take time but his name alone is what will bring the kids to Westwood.
why is everyone hating on Chip Kelly/UCLA? i mean chip Kelly hasn't coached in college football since 2013, its a refresher for him to get back to the roots of having a "championship worth" college football team. And to all the people that say "Well he coached in the NFL he`s surely gonna be a good coach at UCLA", quit thinking this. college football and the NFL are very different from each other. That`s all i have to say. Go gophers!

I think John meant 3-0 vs UCLA last three meetings, 2003 Silicon Valley, 2008 and now 2018 at the Rose Bowl. Heck I wish the Dogs were 3-0 right now they would be in the top 25 fer sure.
They say ALL of these players belong to the previous coach because Chip Kelly didn't do any recruiting at all for this season. Is that true? So basically this is Mora's team. But common sense tells you that any great coach can take mediocre talent and by virtue of ones coaching IQ, you at the very minimum beat a Fresno State team?
