I lived there during Ida and yeah we were without power for two weeks, thank goodness I'm a prepared person so I had everything we needed to get through. I had something similar that was crucial for charging and running most things in the house and it is great for camping.
So, this is going to power a window air conditioner for maybe 2 hrs. It takes a crap load of battery or solar supply to run a typical household.
Run a cable through your wall from your generator. Keep your gas jugs filled so you can run that generator several hrs a day for as long as a week.
What are you using for backup power lets us all know since this is such a bad idea?
@austinbratton9973 I have a generator and keep fuel rotated, so it's fresh.
I got one of their Flex 1500s when they first came out. Love the system. Being able to stack the batteries is awesome. My biggest issue is they are always out of stock!
I’m thinking this for my RV 🤔
Nice looking system 👌
Great product! I'll have to add it to my off grid setup for sure! I love solar because it gives me freedom from having to rely on the system. The sun is always there for you, the system is not.
Whats the life span of the batteries? How many charge cycles do they last? What type of batteries are they?
Lithium ion phosphate if i recall but im sure it's on their website. Inergy has been around a while and are really well priced for what they offer. its a modular expandable system.
i have a bluetti system and after 10 years its guarenteed to have at minimum 80% battery capacity left and at that point im guessing im gonna have a new one anyway.
Interesting product and some nice features .
Of course you can get higher ouout inverter generators of equivalent AC output , for half the price , or , much more output and 240V capability for a similar price point .
However , they don't come with a lithium battery ( NMC. chemistry ) or a solar charge controller built in . Not that you couldn't buy these all separately , but , gonna be more money , and , the packaging integration is going to be an issue .
I didn't see on their page , but a propane or dual fuel option would make this even more versatile .
Food preservation and AC / heat is a huge advantage of the grid takes a nap for an extended period . Of course the highest priority is the ability to make coffee , but food and climate control are close 2nd and 3rd priorities .
Good 1! I gota get supplies
Much support for Mike from Pittsburgh 🙏
This is a good device for the times ahead. Whether recreational or emergency.
Wow
Calling these “portable electric generators” isn’t accurate or true. They are battery banks. The end.
they call them generators because they have inverters and solar charge controllers built in with battery monitoring systems but ya other than that its a battery bank.
You may also want a quiet wind generator so that you have power generating over night and through storms when the suns not out…
I like this guy .
Which guy? Greg?
@senseisambo yes
@@ZombieGunslingr Yup! He’s a top notch dude! Regardless of what any of these dildos in comments say, he truly is one of the baddest dudes out there, hand to hand and lead slingin. World class teacher!! Amazing father and husband!
Dropping some support for Mike.
Hanging from his sack you mean.
Hanging from his sack you mean.
I currently own a Jackey and that thing has gotten me the energy I needed when I needed it.
The system I am looking into is from the RUclips channel, Off-Grid Back Country Adventures. Brian and his buddy built a system that WILL power your whole house if you wish with a 12,000 watt system. That thing totally 🤟🤟🤟.
Thanks for an interesting video and I do like the LEGO style system.
Cool.
FYI, no links in description.
There literally is
This looks like an incredible device to have. I'm curious about the flat cable adapter for windows/doorways, would you get any loss of amperage with the flat cable VS using a standard cable? Either way, looks like a great setup!
As long as the total conductive area is appropriate for the amperage draw it shouldn't be an issue . Ideally a round conducted is preferable, but not really all that critical .
My concern would be the insulation and it's degree of robustness and ability to survive chafing and abrasion .
@@kaboom4679 I agree with you on that. It certainly looks like a nice option for different environments needing a flat cable for temporary, or even a more simi permanent placement.
I work on UPS systems , from 12 volt to 48 volt , and , battery banks that would take up half of an average house .
So far lithium isn't really making an appearance, due to a number of concerns , such as it's volatility .
Cost isn't a factor vs lead acid , they are essentially comparable at this point , with lithium being cheaper based on usable capacity . Sodium batteries seem to be coming on , and , should be loads cheaper , requiring no exotic materials , and , they seem to exhibit far more civilized behaviour than lithium based cells .
All this for comparable energy density and lifespansto lithium , along with a similar lower weight vs lead acid batteries .
Time will tell.
Can you use this for a bench setup of an HF radio?
I need one of these but they are not cheap
How long would this run a fridge or freezer?
I'm with marfoogle inergy has been working with us for a few years now.
Is the flat cable universal wuth other solar setups or just proprietary?
will surviving off grid affect my ability to beat my wife? could mike talk more about this?
Support for you Mike from Boston
Inergy code for savings?
Ok so, where’s the link?
add vlolts , add amps. give us amp draw usage.
Yep. There are much better options.
An inverter for the car you already have and an extension cord.
How is this any different from jackery or any of the million other batteries floating around on amazon?
These guys are getting paid to use them lol

Good ol china build quality .

Will these work in prison to power accessories? Asking for a friend.
You can survive off grid by not abusing your wife. Them no one extra will be out after you.
2k? Haha no much better options for much less.
I’m all about supporting US companies but what sets these guys apart again?
I love all the haters on here making statements about a situation they know little to nothing about. You don’t know the facts, and neither do I so shut the F up! Hope you are doing well Mike.
LMAO. Impartial then not so impartial.
Far from a novel idea or product. I'm curious about how it compares to the zillion competitors.
Or just be smart and buy a whole home generator 😂🤣
Everyone coming to the comments to kick mike while he's down.......what kind of Americans are y'all?
I was one of the guys with the maroon beret during Katrina. I ❤ New Orleans.
Prayers for Mike... Don't mind the haters.... Looking forward to more content podcast and RUclips
You got that right.
@@Doran_Krotan true but in the end only God knows what went down.
@@Doran_Krotan and if he is found "not guilty" in the eyes of men, then...wait for it.... there is a bunch of weak ass haters out here, and now we know who you are.

Fieldcraft is saying what they intend to say at this time. Chill, if you dont like it, get off the internet for a bit. It will be addressed when they are ready. Lord knows the comment section isn't where this needs to happen.
Great video Fieldcraft, we are here for you guys in this time.
We want Mike not these two
