From his music as Owl City to here, i have never been failed when it comes to Adam Young. He is a true artist and i will always be astounded by his work. From space to the oceans, these scores show so much passion and feeling and i couldn't be happier he shared this with us .
Honestly, I must say, that Adam young is my most fav musician hands down. I love not like, love about 99% of all of his music old and new. And now he's an epic composer! His music makes me feel so there. I mean, dang. I feel like I need to put a heavy coat on just to listen to base camp.
Khumbu Icefall is just fucking legendary and breathtaking, i can just picture being on the enormous mountain with the breathtaking view feeling awe and fear and humbleness at the same time. Adam please use these instrumentals in your next oxl city album.
I just adore South Col. I can't really tell you why, but something about it is mysterious and relaxing and then it just turns so epic and adventurous so seamlessly. No idea how he does it!
I'm getting ready to crew for a theater production of Fiddler on the Roof and listening to this calmed me down so much. Adam Young, you have me in awe.
I just watched The Summit of the Gods on Netflix and kept thinking of this score the whole time. I still hope Adam gets the chance to actually score a film one day, or at least return to this project!
I've never been to Everest before, I've never hiked, but I really felt this score really captured the atmosphere of Everest, from the base camp, dangers of the khumbu icefall, all the way to reaching the summit. Sadly this score was quite short, only 24 minutes long. I wish there was another track after The Summit called The Descent :P other than that, 10/10
Track 7, titled: The Summit: . Features a recurring guitar melody, very similar to his old song: Chori Ward. . The melody in question is played in a different key, followed by a different chord progression but both songs are heavy metal! Compare for yourselves: . The Summit [20:18] . I'm still not over the string buildup in The Hillary Step and I don't think I ever will be
Sounds like it's straight out of Halo.
The moment I heard the beginning I immediately knew he was gonna out do himself... Again... lol
Every month...
I wonder what his next project will be. I bet he will get even better. Which is seemingly impossible, but he is always breaking new boundaries
I expected The Summit to be more sweeping strings and stuff but what it really is turned out to be a lot better than what I was expecting.
Adam's just so talented.
Adam's scores distract me from the relentlessness of the passing of time. Thanks, friend.
they keep me from getting caught in the confusion that is life, WE LOVE YOU ADAM!
I just adore South Col. I can't really tell you why, but something about it is mysterious and relaxing and then it just turns so epic and adventurous so seamlessly. No idea how he does it!
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I'll do whatever it takes to change...
I have never been so happy that there's only 30 days in April! x)
Worth the wait! Each score adds a new flavor!! God each track is special!!!!
So good to see Adam do instrumental music again! Loved Port Blue ♥
Adam Young is a musical genius.
I hope one day he is remembered as another Mozart or something.
adam is doing a great job putting aside his collaboration stuffs and focusing more on what he is really good at. loved it seriously.

Well, maybe there is a reason why there is no Descent after Summit.
@@kofola9145 uh oh (0 -O;)
Another month incoming, another piece of art from Adam Young incoming too!
This is the most amazing sound I have ever heard before. Yeah!!!
I keep listening to this over and over.

This was amazing, I really hope Adam Young does more.
Never ceases to amaze.
This is another great 2016 indtrumental score by Adam, can't wait for June's score!
My favorite is Base Camp
OMAHA BEACH CRUSHED IT TOO
Oh yeah, definitely
This can easily be filed under a release from Color Therapy! or Port Blue circa 2010! Freaking Fantastic!
Thats very true actually…
+Lol JK I immediately though Port Blue as soon as I heard it. It makes my soul happy :D
+Spice Princess when I heard western cwm, it made me think of port blue.
This score's a BAM! The Summit just got me humming out of nowhere. Thanks Adam :)
I have been really looking forward to this ever since you posted that preview. Great job with these videos!

He reused his older melodies. 1977 from the Voyager album is also a reworking of one of his Port Blue songs
I just love these so much. Perfect writing music.
Literally listening on loop while I finish a narrative project for class lmao
Western Cwm is my jam.
Same for me!
+Alanson Cleveland I love that one!
Heart touching...amazing adam..

Only words "Adam is a fucking musical genius".

If someone says that South Col doesn't sound like Color Therapy then they're wrong...
I love your Tumblr btw :)
❤️❤️❤️
Is it just me or does 'Track 3: Western Cwm' sound as if it has some dupstep in it?
AGHHH
Good 😉😉
I'm really into Lhotse Face, not saying they're not all great
descher147 Yes! I can really detect the “weather-worn” elementals he was talking about in the description here.
South Col 👍
How did you get this?
My time zone is already May 1st.
ahh ok :3 I live in Denmark :3
17:57 THAT LITERALLY SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE LUCID DREAM
South Col is 👌👌
I really hope the forthcoming scores weigh more to this side, not too much orchestral
are these copyrighted?
Thank you, Snydergurl321.
