I'm going thru the same the past 2 years have been the darkest/ hardest 2 years in my life. It seems like everything/everyone I loved have been taken from me. I'm trying to keep faith that things will get better soon
@@Minaknox107 God has been showing me that the shaking will not stop “until I am unshakable.” He has told me to cut out every relationship I “need” by the end of this month.
He said, “When I took my people out of Egypt, I didn’t do it so I could bring them back to Egypt at a later time. I did it to deliver them to freedom altogether. For them I did it for an earthly kingdom, but for my children I’m seeking to deliver them to an Imperishable Kingdom.”
It means that God wants you and me to learn to rely on Him ALONE, because He’s all we need, and if and when we are willing to let go of everything but Him in our hearts, we will truly be free. “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” This is God’s chosen way of bringing us out into freedom in Him, but the children of Israel weren’t willing to yield to God and let go, so they all died in the wilderness, and their children and grandchildren inherited the promise land instead.
We can either learn from their mistakes and let everything go to God now, so He can deliver us to all He has for us, or we can cling to this world and life, and remain in the wilderness until we die.
I understand the pain. I could never put into words what I have experienced in the last month. But this is the crucifixion of the flesh. This is working out my OWN salvation with fear and trembling, by letting go of EVERYTHING, and counting it ALL as loss for the gain of the One, Jesus Christ. This is selling all I have for the Pearl of Great Price.
I encourage you to begin reading the New Testament like your life depended on it, because it does. And begin to praise/worship, and pray ALL the time. Tune yourself into the frequency of God, and as you do He will give you strength to rely on Him alone.

I am still struggling with my own demons and I am so exhausted. This isn't me anymore. I am starting to lose hope for everything. I don't enjoy even the things that I used to enjoy. Sometimes, I feel so guilty because I can't give my 100% to my kids. I am still hurting from my painful past. I can't even talk to my parents, my own family, my friends. I don't even know myself anymore. I am physically alive but dead on the inside. I just wanna give up.

I also have been praying about this and God has been changing me A LOT lately after a long season of hard-heartedness, pridefulness, and blindness. For so long I thought I was tough and strong when really I was just prideful, hypocritical and sinful. I asked God to humble me and boy is He humbling me and He’s not making it easy. Part of Him humbling me has been Him breaking me down, showing me my sin, and showing me how weak I really am. When I realized how wicked I had been, I broke down crying and apologizing to God because I couldn't believe myself, and for so long I struggled to admit when I was wrong. I am so grateful for His forgiveness and help. He will do so much for us if we genuinely surrender. He loves us so much and I have really realized that. I have only been going through this transformation for about a week, and it's been heavy; but it's crazy how this video came in such a moment. We shouldn't be surprised, but it seems so insane how God showed us all this right on time.

I haven't watched the video yet, BUT can I just say I love how good the LORD is and how He speaks. So there's some work He has been trying to do in me but everytime He would start breaking me I would run back with my boyfriend and i wouldn't let Him finish what He started. So these past few days I've been talking with Him, and I dont want to keep Him from doing the work He needs to do. It's a work I haven't let Him finish. I'm surrendered and ready to let Him break me and finish this process that I keep putting on hold. I pray I don't get in the way and stop it again.

Wrestling with God in this context in the Holy Scriptures is not a good thing. As you mentioned Jacob was a born deceiver, a grabber. Because of this his whole life he was restless and had many struggles.

I started studying Genesis on Monday and stopped when Jacob was leaving. As I type this I am going through through it. God made me move back home after being gone for 7 years. This has been the most emotionally draining season of my life. I know God sent me back to deal with my childhood trauma but this video has given me more clarity! I'm a traveling musician who has worked internationally for most of the past decade. This year that all changed along with so much else and it was very painful in parts.
Yes, God did strip away all the familiar people, places and things and I've been set on a new path. I recently returned from travel of a different kind too as I needed to help a family instead of performing music.
My hope is that those I've lost will come to know God and I'll have the discernment and courage to follow God's leading in every direction He sends need.

God is breaking me RIGHT NOW!!
You never truly know how deeply rooted something is in you, until God starts to dig out at the root of a very specific sin. Especially one he’s been slowly working out of you.
I find myself in a deep deep repentance. One that comes from so far down within me a type of travail that seems to come from a place deeper then the pit of hell itself. My, oh my.... talk about being forged by and through FIRE & yes, it is a truly painful process. Our Old Man can feel and END coming to something he has allowed to grow & be an idol in us so, the spiritual warfare is serious. Tears so heavy, I can’t open my eyes and has lasted for months. It’s hard to breath, my body trembles and nothing seems to exists but, my sin that God wants from me and God himself.
Let share with you... the absolute PEACE God gives you once you’ve allowed him to truly work in you & take that sin he’s been after, is INDESCRIBABLE!
Remember, you are loved, appreciated & truly valued by God. 💙🙏🏼💚🙏🏼🧡🙏🏼💜🙏🏼

This is EXACTLY what is happening to me! I find more and more, though, that when I completely rely on Father God, that there is a breakthrough in a particular situation or problem. Little by little, my life is slowly becoming better, and I think, so am I. I feel closer to Jesus and Our Father. I feel the Holy Spirit guiding me.

God bless you for this. EVERY single point you mentioned applies to my current situation. For the past few years, God has really been breaking me to the point of total weakness. When I mean weakness, I mean an overall breakdown that has radiated even to my physical appearance. I'm listening to this on one of my very "bad" days, and now I'm 100% reassured of God's divine reasons. I feel so broken right now. I've been struggling with depression/anxiety most of my life. These past few months I've been suffering from anxiety attacks almost every day. It's been really hard. I have to believe God has a plan for me. 😓
This is what happened yesterday. I confessed something traumatic to someone I love. Because my Past experiences left me traumatized and I am fully aware of the risks if I told him the truth. But knowing that it is the right thing even if it's very very Painful. God truly guided me.. all throughtout the danger I faced before.. I wanted to be better and have a Christ-like character.. even if I will lose people that I love.. Today.. I stumbled upon your video that I relate the most. I feel like my life is meaningless. Everything and almost everyone is against me. I'm so overwhelmed and broken; my faith is shaken, I feel lost. I can't even hear God say a word.
Your life is definitely not meaningless. God created you and called you for a purpose. I understand how you feel as I am also going through a very difficult time right now. I feel like I am struggling to know what to do. But I have to believe that God knows what He’s doing. God’s economy is His people and you are very important. I've been having trouble liking anything and being motivated about anything. That seems like it's describing depression, and yeah, I do feel sad and depressed about it, but also I'm starting to think it might be an indicator that something needs to change in my life for the better. If I stop liking things, maybe God is preparing me for the ultimate treasure that I will like. Does that make sense?

Point 1 already took place in my life. I always had worries about the future and insecurities about myself. Basically a shy and worrying person. But recently these two things were accelerated to the extreme, where even my own mind could see it was completely irrational. I pray to God everyday and every night even in good times and bad times I lost my mom my grandparents and one of my sons and I used to question him everyday throughout this past year I had learned so much he has given me wisdom and strength to survive through it all and most of all he answered my prayers and giving me a little girl that put so many years I wanted so you see he takes away but he gives back never give up on your prayers I know it hurts to lose a loved one but as he promised we will see them again one day soon God is always the same yesterday and today . We are the one that changed . It's hard when you lose everything but God answered the prayers at his time not our time sometimes people give up when their prayers are not answered. YAAAS!!! PREACH! Thank you, Mark, for this video! Rarely is this taught, and for believers going through a wilderness season and waiting on the Lord, it looks foolish to others, even other Christians. However, it is absolutely biblical. This pruning process (sanctification), although, painful is the very thing that is needed so that all of God's goodness and blessings, particularly the blessing of who God IS, can come in. We unknowingly, unconsciously reject his LOVE, peace, grace, favor, healing, restoration, etc. because our unrepentant heart impedes our ability to truly receive, not because God is withholding.
Hosea 6:1-2 “Come, let us return to the LORD;
for he has torn us, that he may heal us;
he has struck us down, and he will bind us up.
After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will raise us up,
that we may live before him."
This is what it means to die to the self, picking up one's cross. You cannot resurrect what is not dead.....and flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Cor 15:50; John 3:3-8).

Well, God is getting ready to rebuild me and bless me in a dramatic way. In the past year and a half, I've lost everything as described,.
