- This is our yearly trip to Windrock off-road park. It's a good trip to spend some time with family and camp for a few days. We had 5 machines with us, Polaris rs1, Polaris rzr turbo, Polaris ranger, Honda talon, and a Can-am maverick sport. We hauled 4 machines down from WV and had a couple uncles meet us from NC with a machine. Had some tire trouble on the way down and actually on the way back as well but we made it safe. We were able to ride a lot of trails but in this video we only covered trail 22, trail 16, and trail 10. If you're ever there and get a chance I definitely recommend seeing the Brushy Mountain Prison, not only is it cool history but they also have great food. If you're ever in a bad spot at Windrock, call Pig with Mountain Recovery, he towed our friend out from trail 10 at the bottom of a hill back to the main road and was very honestly priced. I hope I'm not breaking ant type of copy right laws, I purchased the song through iTunes and uploaded it to iMovie. Song is Good Time by Niko Moon.
We will be there soon😁👍
31x10.50 with 15 inch wheel. I have about 600 miles on them now and I’ve been pleased with them so far. I definitely like them better than the big horns that came on it.
Love the vids yall, im New to the channel and absolutely love the channel name and the vids!! Windrock is legitimately my backyard, and i would love to do some riding with y'all!! Maybe next time y'all are down here you can let me show you some of the most beautiful views and some of the funnest trails you'll ever see. A lot of the park is mapped, or marked with trail signs and what not, but booyyy lemme tell ya once you get off the beaten path and into some of the mines and service roads not marked you REALLY see some veiws that are as close yo heaven as we'll see here on earth!
How big is that system? It’s on my bucket list. How many days should we stay for?
They have over 300 miles of trails ranging from easy, moderate, difficult and extremely difficult. Every time we go we try to plan at least 3 days of riding with a group of about 5 machines. That gives us plenty of time to not be rushed and be able to enjoy it and explore. I guess it just depends on how fast you ride and the range of trails you hit.
Are those the toyo open country sxs tires on the red rzr? How have they been?
Yeah, he likes em a lot, went from tusk terrabites to these. They bite good for the type of trail riding we do and was good at windrock. I think he’s put over 1000 miles on em and they’re wearing good.
@@AlmostHeavenOffRoad do they do decent on asphalt as far as not quickly wearing down? I do avoid asphalt as much as I can, but getting from trail to trail sometimes there’s no other choice lol.
@@reesemcgee708 yeah we ride asphalt a lot
That rs1 is badass what tires are you running
Yeah he has it set up nice. He’s running 15” system 3 beadlocks with 32” system 3 xtr370’s.
Thanks for info
What size tire is the cooper Evolution? Also how well do they work off road?
