Great video. I've got the same problem setting up Theos with FX3 or A7S3+K3M audio unit. Line level is way too low. And mic level brings tons of noise because I have to crank up the gain so much on the TX.

Hey mate. Are you happy with the Theos and fx6. I’m tossing up between the Theos or the Sony system.
I’ve heard too many issues on the Facebook Deity Theos group

Hey mate, I’ve only used it on the fx6 for that test, which seemed to work fine when using the settings I spoke about.
I’ve used it a bunch more on my canon c70 which has been fine as well. I have been pulling the internal recording out to used most times though, so that I have the 32bit file to use.
I would still rather an option from deity to use the Theos via two separate cables on cine cameras though.
It’s a tough call, as I’ve heard from people using the Sonys for a long time that they are solid, but the 32bit float and internal recording on the theos packs really can save the day in situations where solo operator run and gunning gets away from us!
Also, so far I haven’t had any signal issues, but I haven’t really been all that far from talent when filming. I do re scan signal at each location.

Thanks for your feedback. That’s what attracted me, was the internal recording, the Sidus app, and one system for anywhere in the world. Also I own the tc-1.

Actually yeah I use the app each time to sync and start recording. Pretty handy
