Six years with my GW-9400 Rangeman. I organised work in a factory - every single day, hitting my watch against different objects multiple times. Sailing (compass), trekking in the mountains (altitude), swimming, and snorkelling (water resistance). Few barely visible scratches. Ok - I had to buy a new bracelet. Old gummi got finally broken. But the watch. Unstoppable. Oh. And with solar panel. And synchronising every day with the atomic clock in Berlin. Never bothered with batteries or seals that are no longer water resistant (practically every time you open the watch to change the battery, you should also put in a new seal). And bought it on sale for 239 Euro. I would love other technological advances were built that way. Simply insane quality.
I have the black/black display GW-9400BJ-1JF and put it through its pace in the military and as a first responder for the past 8 years. Absolutely no issues. Love it! Never thought I would consider anything else. However, I'm seriously considering this 2024 updated version.
I owned a mudmaster & pro trek casio , coz I worked in saudi arabia & I needed a tough watch that can withstand harsh climate, casio g shock simply the best
Love Casio products and have many, but with this Rangeman they're lagging behind Garmin's Instinct series in terms of many features and especially display customizability and activity tracking.

The new one is much better then the 9400. Millions times better
I really like the new design on this Rangeman. 2024 is gonna be another great year for G-Shock.

Tip for Casio: make a proper smart watch in G-Shock style and you've got a winner.

I just wished they brought back the 2018 version. The 2024 color options are absolutely horrible

It will probably be great watch but it looks cheep, like some copy...
Its going to take some time for Gshockers to get used to this design.
