I am wishing the perfect implantation and a lovely baby for you. I am following your journey with great excitement. There is lots of hope and love in my heart for you two (hopefully three).
I am currently also preparing for the treatment (waiting for the hormone therapy to start) and I can only agree to how stressfull it is to fullfill all the requirements (lawyer, psychological evaluation...) and remember everything they tell you (I sometimes lowkey feel like a need a degree in reproductive medicine to manage all this)... I love your videos. They make me smile and let me feel connected and less weirded out :) Thank you and good luck
The lady in the door passing the embryo impression 🤣🤣. Thank you for sharing, all I can feel from you guys is love and peace and happiness. A strong stable relationship!
Wow, that really brings back all the stress. The outcome of my first round of IVF is sleeping in the next room. I so hope that you have the same happy outcome. Once they arrive, I think you kind of forget about the bumpy road which went before.
Congratulations on making your way through all of those awful, stressful hurdles. I hope everything goes very well now! The little blastocyst really does look picture perfect. Thanks for your update. Love and best wishes from your viewers!!
What a mess! I'm so sorry for all that. But! You have had al, your bad luck now. From now on everything goes great! That's what I hope for anyway. Lots of love, Marieke
Thank You for sharing your journey with such openness and generosity. Being part of a queer couple in Lithuania where partnership/marriage is still illegal, it very much helps seeing other couples facing the obstacles in the way and making choices that are right for them. I hope it all works out, hugs to you both!
Good luck both of you. You really deserve it to work. You both have so much love for each other, your baby will be born into an amazing family full of love. ❤🥰
All WILL work out for you both - one of the most gorgeous couples on RUclips. Just relax and do whatever is necessary. Famous Chinese saying - bitter first, sweetness will follow! ❤🎉
oh girls, sending you baby dust! i am sure there is a baby on its way whenever she or he is ready:) i did myself IVF in my late 40s in barcelona, spain, and got pregnant first attempt! got 6 embryos out of ) fertilized eggs (I donated the 5 left embryos to another woman:) my little prince maxime 2,5 years old is sleeping the angels next to me, my love of my life:) x alex and max
We are from slovenia and we also need to go to austria..and we also had so many problems with all the medicals and transfer.. It's really hard-mentally
Y’all should think about sending these last couple videos to your elected representatives and ask them to change the rules. With a following as big of yours and with videos to show in depth what it’s like I feel like you could have a big impact.
You are brave and positive but !!! naturel /artificiel also /foolproof method or not..we are some times clueless ..somehow stay safe and enjoy whatever you undertake, God Bless you both.
Do you guys communicate in English in Vienna? I’m considering moving there but my German is very basic. How are local authorities with English-speakers? Do they try to communicate in English or not at all?
Everyone we spoke to spoke English very well but we were quite central, anywhere with tourists english isn’t a problem. The notary people spoke English very well too but it’s legally required to have an interpreter there if someone doesn’t speak the language fluently (which Lilian does but Alexis doesn’t)
Depends where you do it. For us in total (procedure, medication, travel cost, pre-tests, sperm etc.) it came to about 10K€ but the reciprocal IVF procedure itself is about 3500€. In the US it’s around $25K or so but varies
3:33 Did you need a translator from mainly a legal standpoint? As a linguist, I'm curious. Despite the fact that my degrees and education specialize in Slavic languages, I would assume that 'Austrian Standard German' would be mutually intelligible with High German? Anyway, wishing you ladies all the best on such a wonderful journey. ~Laura
Yeah it’s ridiculous. It’s because it’s seen as “egg donation” and in Germany, egg donation is illegal, which is also ridiculous, the double standards- sperm donation is legal but they say it would be distressing for the child to grow up without the genetic mother. Which in our case wouldn’t be the case anyway. But yep Germany remains a very conservative country at heart unfortunately
omgg ivf needs to become easier for queer couples! So important that you're sharing this
I hope Alexis gets pregnant!!! This is so exciting!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼
I'm so proud of you two. I've followed the channel since you were living apart. This journey makes me super emotional
Alright the journey continues! What a ride

Incredible! Had no idea what reciprocal IVF was. So amazing that both partners can contribute to pregnancy. Good luck with everything!

Yes it was legally required to have an interpreter present since Alexis doesn’t speak German and we were signing legal documents in German
🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👏
What if they just took this eggs , I guess they are verry expensive :)
well thought out
Surely IVF falls under healthcare and how can it be legal to give some people access and others not?? :( Crossing my fingers from Graz, Austria :)

@@AlexisLilian I never would have thought that Austria would be less conservative than Germany! Crazy double standards going on there.
