Little fun fact, but if you don't count Raging Brachydios, Seregios is the first monster from Monster Hunter 4/4U to make an appearance in this generation of MH(World and Rise). Until then all of the Gen 4 monsters that have appeared all originated from Generations/GU, those being Glavenus, Mizutsune, Valstrax, and now Astalos.
Yeah, I'm surprised 4u monsters got such little representation in world and rise. Sunbreak will likely remedy this. Tbh there's not much from 4u that I care for even though I invested 3k hours into it. It's just really gore, shaggy, seregios. Everything else was good within that game but outside of it.. meh

Also hojo is on a baby Tetsu so yeah it probably will come. So I wouldn't worry too much. 3. Dalamadur.. I guess? 4. Gogmazios? They seldom re-relase G3 or end of expansion bosses with the exception of ukanlos. He's the only g3 to be released again. And no fatalis is not G3 you can fight them all in high rank. Gen 2 was ukanlos Gen 3 was dire miralis... no not altreon it was end of high rank. Gen 4 was gogmazio(4u) and Alta(GenUlt). Gen 5: shara ishvalda ibushi, narwa(they are so unique I doubt they return). And whatever will be end of master in rise probably won't return in future games. Most of these endgame monsters don't make appearances again. Only ukanlos has. It's Capcom pattern. All in all a lot of the monsters in 4u I see ppl wating the most is gore line and seregios. Outside of that I don't see much for other monsters in the roster.
I really miss these classic ecology videos. They should have done them for the newer games, too. But man, I’m glad Seregios is back in the game. I love everything about it from the fight to the gear and the skills!

I'm talking about the proper ecology videos that shows how monsters behave and go about their days in the wild - in contrast to the intros that shows the monsters attacking (or ready to attack) the hunters - it doesn't really show their natural behaviour. Try looking up "MHFU Ecology" or MH Tri Ecology" and you'll know what I mean. Also, I see a lot of people calling the cutscenes or intros as "ecology" in the newer games (especially World) but they're not ecology videos.
Could extend it over to cutscenes in general. I really like the hunter and monster interactions of 4U's cutscenes and the few that were like that in World were great too, but unfortunately it's mostly with annoying side characters now.
@@reshi606 Oh, I miss the monsters’ intro from MH4 so much! While the graphics are obviously not as good as World, I still like the cinematic from MH4 the best. They didn’t only do cool and serious action scenes but also mixed in some really funny and lighthearted ones like Zamtrios’s intro (which actually is both funny and badass at the same time XD). There’s also the feature where other players also show up in the intro for certain giant bosses like Dah’ren Mohran, I really like that! I miss the old games’ openings, too. They always got me hyped up to hunt! I can’t believe they just completely ditched the opening after GenU…
@@gojigiante intro and ecology are different the intro will try to make the monster you're fighting seem tough or give you hints on how it fights while the ecology will show what the monster does in it's natural habitat without the hunter interfering.
Honestly Sergios coming back to sunbreak was the best thing to happen since there is alot of people who love him but he was definitely forgotten as a flagship and his design is a chef's kiss honestly if only a turf war between him and bazelguese would happen.
I honestly feel sorry for them, they didn't want to leave their home,but brcause one tried to fight a god,now they all must try to look for new homes,all while small monsters with sharp stones try to hunt them all down

Nope, even if you run Perception as a skill the Rathian flies away well before capture levels (and is probably flagged as non-capturable anyway).
