Any trike with front hub motors are unsafe. I've owned and rode a Pedego, Lectric, and have settled on the Addmotor 310. The Pedego trike w/ front hub motor tend to loose traction in wet weather. I live in an area of high rain fall, so it is wet a lot.
Yes, in reference to TRICYCLES. these units must be as light as possible. they are not built for weaklings, so the owner must be strong and healthy. the best trikes must have all tires sizes 20 x 4". Hydraulic front suspension and hydraulic disk brakes on all three wheels with parking lever. Rear differential and front hub with 750 watts motors in front and rear, high amperage battery {preferably 2 batteries} with 48 volts capacity, Not wider than 31 inches and 63 inches long, or less. {You are not riding a Cadillac or pick up truck.} Plus all the optional accessories. Show me one with those specifications, and I shall buy it for my old lady. Manufacturers or builders do not provide what customers need or want. Only what suits them.
