    "I can't take it anymore!" Haha, that's the best statement I have ever heard in a metal detecting video. Congratulations on a truly special discovery. You deserve it, for all your thoughtful and responsible detecting. May you have many more such opportunities to make the same statement.

    It would be great to get some kind of a sequel to your tours, maybe where you and your archaeologists discuss the find and the place where you found it. Maybe it is possible to bring some finds in connection with the greater view of the region and its history, like the Spearhead. Would be great to see that, or maybe just hear it as a Podcast. Thank you very much for your videos! Just marvelous.

    • @TerraGermaniaTG
      @TerraGermaniaTG  7 лет назад +5

      hello!
      I'm planning to hand on all information I will get about the finds as soon as I have them. unfortunately it is not possible to tell you about the place where I've found the relics as I would jeopardize the source. I would love to make a video together with an archaeologist and talk about the finds but I fear that most of them consider it to be inappropriate to be seen in a video together with a metal detectorist. maybe at some point in the future :)
      thank you for watching and for your kind comment!

    • @MrPiotrr
      @MrPiotrr 7 лет назад +3

      How sad that most of them would consider it that way. Anyway, great work! :)

    Look forward to your adventures every week. Great finds again, but very impressed with your care for the environment. Both keeping the sound of the detector to the phones, but especially the care of the seedling trees. You deserve a medal.

    As a fan of the Bronze Age, my head is flooded with questions and scenarios as to how it came to be where you found it. You are the first person to touch it in 3,000 years or more. Just wonderful.

    • @TerraGermaniaTG
      @TerraGermaniaTG  3 года назад +2

      it's always a riddle how finds came to the places where they are being found. I just hope I didn't destroy a burial.. I was digging without extra caution as the finds where exactly on an ancient track and I didn't assume archaeological features in a hollow way. fact is that bronze age people used to bury people at the sides of ancient tracks. I think the archaeologists would have told me when I handed in the find. thank you for watching!

    Perfect time of year to hunt in deciduous woodland before the plants grow too high on the forest floor and that was an awesome find indeed. You don't see a spear head from thousands of years ago come up every day.

    I finally got to see this episode due to my internet being down from a national outage and what an epic episode it was, the spear head is truly amazing and no wonder you were so stoked on finding it. I also was stoked when some technical genius found the problem on the Internet service I pay good money for so hopefully I can keep coming on the hunts with you over there, can't wait to see what gets found the next time, will it be in English, I hope so because my German is totally hopeless and I couldn't find the u tube translation you mentioned. when it comes to doing computer stuff I find that I'm not young enough to know it all. Will keep trying, so cheers from sunny downunder and happy hunting Hans.
