I am as well, using their products in the beginning of the year in the body shops; I was wating on this ceramic product..they are simple, realistic..professions..environmental safe.
First of all...very nice video. A man that truely knows what he is doing and an honest person. I just received my 3D HD Speed and im about to try it out in a few minutes. I now need a distributor in Europe. Im from Portugal. You sir from Autogeek, you sure know your stuff. It is people like you who I love to learn from. You teach based on knowledge and facts and not what you think.
Just installed the coating on a customers truck. It’s very thick on the surface after cured and is incredibly glossy. One 30ml did a whole short bed mega cab dodge and the wheels. Extremely easy to use.
Great video. Very informative. I appreciate the conservative approach to claims but people do want to know if it resist lovemarks/wash swirls (i.e., doe sit increase the hardness of the OEM clearcoat and by how much) and they want an idea how long it will last best case/worst case even. It's all about setting expectations.
Please enlighten me: Will it be better to do a paint correction & prep the paint for ceramic coating with AAT501 & AAT502 given that AAT Line is a Body Shop Safe to ensure better bonding? Of course still using 3D Wipe prior to coating.
Not family with AAT501/502 specifically, but I am a Detailer so maybe I can help. "Body Shop Safe" is purely a marketing term, nothing really crazy about that product versus another. All polishes and compounds are going to be an abrasive suspended in some sort of fluid. That fluid is most of the time an oil, which is what the wipe is needed for. I'd tell you to use whatever compound and polish you get the best results out of, and give it a shot. Personally, I use 3M products for paint correction almost exclusively, and don't plan on changing any time soon.
AAT, ACA, and ONE are all body shop safe. I regularly coat cars after using any of their polishes - ACA520, AAT502, and ONE without any issues. After panel wipe of course.
I have also heard that a "ceramic coating" is not a true ceramic coating unless it is in a glass bottle I also looked up videos on RUclips for the Sutherland Rub tester and crockmeter method test ...pretty cool!
Some say yes, some say no. Yes because it can last a while compared to other protections if you properly prep it right. No because it can altered the lights direction. Headlights beam at certain angles. I would say do some research to see what is the right choice for you. Look up PPF (paint protection film) for headlights. This in my opinion is bests. But do your research. Hope this helps.
This man who invented 3D as a air of Truth and honesty! Nice to see somebody who is actually turning out a quality product and who cares.
I like the way he formulates the products without the fillers. That leaves you only those ingredients that WORK.
I really am a fan of 3D products, keep it up.

I switched to 3D line and it is the best and most versatile from compound to coating👍

Yo, be careful! That stuff is addicting haha
Fast forward and now Mike works for this man! 🙌🏻
I would like to read a detailing book from this man, but I do all my work by hand- no buffers.
I enjoy Tunch’s approach to his products. Would love to try this one to experience his years of efforts
After watching this video, I want to try 3D. Guy seems very honest & genuine, also sounds like he knows his shit. I'm sold
Tunch is a class act. 3D makes some of the best compounds and polishes on the market, eager to try this coating.

How was the wipe off on the 1st application compared to the second application? Very excited to get this on!
Great presentation. I've switched most of my Auto Detailing to 3D
Haha, Mike. Green Lantern! One of my faves growing up. I do like the 3D colors, though
Classic

If I use mequires 07 first then can I use a ceramic coating after? or am I stuck with using a wax if I use 07?

How long is it supposed to last? Love 3d products
As mentioned in the video, it depends.
Can I use it on headlights?

Mike, you cut your guest way too often.
Where can I find the 3d wipe?
Autogeek.com
Axel Bart I couldn’t find it
Give Autogeek a call they are most likely waiting on shipment
Amazon also carries it
You should go straight to graphene based coating and skip this over flooded market ...
So saturated, your right. Check out the big companies, it took them 4 or even 5 versions to perfect it.
