Tesla's wheel covers don't protect your wheel rims - unlike these EV Base ones

I've had a lot of positive comments about the stealthy black EV Base covers I've been running since last year. Last week I found out firsthand why a rim protector wheel cover is a good investment.
Instead of trashing the wheel when we had to swerve to avoid an accident, all we did was trash the cover. They did the job!
