Happened to my mom as well, she worked so much and is such a sweet person, she supported my dad to a point that I think he had way too much freetime. I never heard him saying a good word about her, while she is doing everything for him. A lot of cheating is going on and I myself have been asked out by so many married men since I am 15, that I am just bored and I simply know, if a guy askes me out, he must be a married man....99% of all the men that ever asked me out were married. I love the fact that aussie singer Kylie Minogue blocked Kylie Jenner from trade marking the name Kylie . And then released her own makeup range called Kylie. Meanwhile Jenner had to use Kylie Cosmetics as her make up brand. Oh and Jenner had to pay Kylie Minogue some compensation 😂

The thing that’s always been strange to me is that my dad knew Khloe through mutual friends in his late teens, early twenties. He says he was super nice, probably the nicest of the sisters he was introduced to, but that he wasn’t really allowed into the glitzy glamorous side of things. So gross.

This is why you don’t tell people your idea until it is trademarked and especially to someone who is known for doing whatever it takes to build her brand.
There was an invention investment company in Australia about 20 years ago that claimed to invest in your idea if it was chosen... I sent in my idea about a flip down sun visor that would replace the one in your car that would be see through, made of a polarized lense and not just block your eyesight completely. They offered to cover half the investment for the idea but I didn't have the money at the time so they basically stole my idea and years later they popped up in the US everywhere. True story.
If you’re an artist you can copy-write your artwork simply by putting a “c” in a circle with your name somewhere unobtrusive on the piece. You can also put a big-azzed watermark on your online portfolio pieces, one that’s impossible/too time intensive to Photoshop out.

Concerning the Kimojies trademark scandal/ripoff? My grand daughter does anime characters of her own creation and imagination and sells the results on line for purchase by someone else that she trusted. She got ripped off and there was nothing she could do about it. And it is totally true that getting something legally trademarked under ones name is both timely and costly. So I gave her an easy solution to just put a unique watermark on the art that she has created therefore owning it 100%. She went through her entire collected artworks of over three hundred works and placed her watermark on each and everyone. Now when she sells her anime on line she does not remove the watermark until she receives payment in full. Every original artwork she has created is copied onto a seperate file, allowing her to retrieve the requested artwork and she slaps on her watermark immediately. For an 18 year old she does pretty good for herself, and her talent is high level. I don't know where she gets her talent from but it is definately not me.

With Law story, he actually did come out and made a video saying he was in fact not mad at Zendaya as the internet was claiming and that he will still style her no matter what. However, he was upset that LV didn't put him in the front because they have been wanting to work w/ Zendaya for the longest and used him to get to her so he felt it was a slap in the face. But he is retiring as a stylist but will stay styling Zendaya though.

I came to comments to say this and also that I guess when she pointed to the seat in the second row, that it was for another person that was with Zendaya's group, so he didn't want to take that person's spot. Basically there wasn't a seat period. Now I don't keep up to date with celebratie news, so the info I added may not be accurate. I just remember coming across a few videos and that is what I'm remembering. The first video was trying to make it like he was mad at her, which prompted me to search for other videos, just because it just didn't sound right, and like they were trying to make her look negative.

The kimoji thing is really disgusting! They had an NDA with this guy & his team. Someone from her camp (that his side didn't know was working for her side) spoke about her with someone from his team. They called to ask if he had a trademark, he said no. They got someone working on the trademark immediately while someone else called him back and started talking to him about the nda breach, keeping him busy (while their trademark atty was hard at work). 20 minutes later, they had the trademark underway while his head was still spinning from the NDA BREACH!

My husband back 25 years ago showed a doctor a light box to look at x-rays that had no dark spots. It was revolutionary the doctor said, and my husband didn't think it was all that special, I told him he should trademark it but as the doctor said he would show it around to some other doctors for its use to see mammograms so much better than the traditional light box maybe he would be interested in buying it. Well, the doctor didn't return my husband's calls for six months, when we got the box back it had been clearly dissembled and reassembled. He never said another word to my husband, a year later we had to go to the hospital and there was my husband's light box being used to now look at all x-rays. He was pissed, and he knew he screwed up, not getting the thing patented and trusting a reputable doctor.
I think Shakira's ex MIL was doing damage control. She did not support her and was pictured with both piqué and Clara having dinner. She also was called out in that song . Lets not forget the 💫ICONIC💫 witch in the balcony facing the MIL's house .

I THINK "Shut Up" was used by Jamie Lee Curtis as a nod to her iconic "Shut Up" line in Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan! I loved her when she was acting all teenager-y and saying it whenever she was excited or surprised!

I agree. We actually were reluctant. Though as you can hear on the recording of mine and Kim’s initial conversation she sold me on the idea of her being involved. She said she wanted to help and use her whole family’s influence to do something positive. Like starting a foundation in the name of our Censorgram app helping stop cyber bullying, she’s a mom now etc etc

The whole Kim Kardashion ruined my life thing is absolutely terrible. They truly went out of their way to steal from this man. They tricked him, cheated him, and knew exactly what they were doing the entire time. To my understanding even going so far as to set him up to make it look like he or some one on his team did something wrong, and then said because of this supposed "thing" they did(something to do with sending a text message or something) they backed out. And totally ruined this poor guys life. Absolutely disgusting to me these people are so famous and have such a HUGE platform and influence over so many people. Makes me sick to know they influence so many young people. I am NOT a fan of them whatsoever. Never have been, never will be. I may have some of the information wrong but tried to stick to the generalized stuff I learned over a short time of looking into it all a bit after I came across a video with an exclusive interview with the man whoms life was ruined. Sad stuff. Crazy people can get away with so much. I know I sure wish the world did not work this way all to often.
I LOVED Johnny's attitude during that trial! His voice was so gentle, but his words were razor blades of sarcasm. But no one could prove that. LOVE him! 🖤

It was great lol that whole trial was such a pleasure to watch. JD was so cute and witty, and his law team was amazing. Amber heard was just a horrible mess, she can’t even hide her wickedness anymore. Her team very much suited her, and it was fucking hilarious watching them fumble their entire way through that trial. It was just great entertainment for sure.

During the trial I was watching a video of Amber leaving the courthouse. A lot of fans were standing around waiting for them to exit. One girl shouted “Amber!”. I thought she was going to shout some words of encouragement but what she said was “why you gotta poo in the bed!”. I never laughed so hard. My daughter and I still randomly call out “why you gotta poo in the bed?” . 😂

I can relate to that trademarking story. My music teacher in high school wrote the "cup song" and choreography that was used in Pitch Perfect. Originally it was a percussion piece with no additional music or singing. We used to go to competitions all over Canada and the US to perform and compete as a percussion group. We have video of us performing the piece from 2004-2011, and Pitch Perfect came out in 2012. Apparently when they went to LA one time to perform at a competition in Anaheim, someone had asked them about that specific piece and how long they have been performing it, and whether it was trademarked. When that movie came out my music instructor was LIVID but there was nothing that they could do because universal studios is a lot more powerful than a high school music department.

The levels of greed and exploitation from the Kardashians never ceases to amaze me. They always find more and more ways to take advantage of others, yet they somehow are still popular? I really don't understand. I am not familiar with the law over there, but if that guy has the paper trail, how could Kim counter-sue when he won originally?
Kim has actually taken over an already established trademark - Skims was a company name before Kim filed for the name. The judge on the case to determine who got to keep it decided Kim's brand as Skims was more recognizable than the other person's company Skims, so even tho they owned the brand name Skims first, Kim got to keep it.
Even trademarking your work doesn't matter when Kris is involved
When I was in elementary school I won the Young Author’s Award for a book I wrote and illustrated about a fish that gets caught in a fishing net and taken to an aquarium where he has to make a daring escape. Years later I’m sitting in a movie theatre with my mom watching Finding Nemo. We look at each other when it dawns on us how eerily similar it was. Disney funds the Young Author’s program.

Because the Young Authors Award is a different thing, and it’s for high school students. There’s also the Young Writers Award which is connected and is for 18-35 year olds. The Disney Writing Program selects 10-13 participants and they work on collaborations with them and they get to contribute their writing to different Disney projects. Just want to make sure I’m not misunderstanding.

The whole court case with Johnny and Ms. Whiny was very entertaining.
That trial proved how clever and good natured JD is, as well as a good actor. His handling of Rottenborne and Berehoft was masterful. He ran rings around them and made them look like fools. He looked effortless and affable on the stand. Meanwhile, AH was the opposite, even before taking into account her weird obsession with looking at the jury when answering questions. It looked like she was commentating on a tennis match the way her head would snap back and forth.
Oh yes, an actor can act. Which is exactly why he got away with it despite his history of abuse being well documented and you’re stupid enough to believe that she was in a ten year long conspiracy against depp. We are in the age of anti intellectualism and I’m scared that someone like you could be on a jury in an abuse case. You lack the depth and range.
Regarding Jamie Lee Curtis, remember Freaky Friday, that was the 'it' phrase at the time, so I doubt they needed lots of time to come up with that. I mean, when I saw I immediately thought of the movie and giggled about it.

The lawyers weren’t exactly fired. They aren’t getting paid. The lawyers her insurance company wanted her to use - she ignored- now two insurance agencies are suing her for breach of contract.
OMG yes, any creative person needs to have an IP lawyer on retainer and strict control over what they share.
12:46 this is why whenever I share an idea with other creatives, it’s only sharing ideas I don’t plan on using. I get too many ideas, so I like sharing them, but I’m paranoid that someone will take the ideas I’m using, so I only share the ideas I won’t use.

You can protect your intellectual property by mailing yourself a detailed description of the item before speaking to someone like Kim K. You have to leave it sealed in the envelope and make sure that the post office put the date stamp on. Sometimes they don't, so make sure they have before you speak to Kim and her people! They are well-versed in this world!
Ask them to date stamp it before mailing it out.
Even that may not help as it comes down to knowledge of the property and actions to profit from it.
The Kardashian’s really fucked him over. It was completely underhanded. Like how much money do they need? It seems like they were literally raised to put money and fame before all else. When it comes down to it, NONE of them have had a healthy relationship. It’s probably because the only people that they truly trust is one another. And poor Rob was emasculated starting at a young age. As nice and down to earth Bruce was, he clearly wasn’t an example of an Alpha male. Bruce let the daughters in that family get away with a lot. They didn’t want to go to school anymore, they were allowed to quit. And people often act like I’m being too protective, but they aren’t the ones who’ve spent years developing the skills and ideas to compose the music I write. Copyright, trademark, and do whatever you can to protect your work.

PSA from your friendly neighborhood trademark attorney- you can't trademark an idea. You need a specific product or service to be connected to the trademark, and you have about 3 years to actually produce that product or service or else you lose your trademark as if you hadn't filed it at all.

I read the one with Zendaya's stylist and he said that the reason he didn't sat in the 2nd row is because someone else's name is on it, not because he doesn't like to be on the 2nd row, he didn't want to steal the seat from that someone.. he actually really got confused because no one knew where his seat was. He retired after that as he really got tired with all the BS and toxicity behind a celeb stylist. he still was grateful to be a consultant in Zendaya's stylist team and he is very grateful to Zendaya for still giving him that opportunity while being able to stay away from all the dramas.

I don't follow an celebrity bs, especially Kardashians, so I didn't know about, "Kimojis." But as an artist I always tell people to prominently watermark their images and put everything in writing. Trademark and patent any good idea before you even talk to someone, especially someone famous, about your idea. People will steal your ideas or work without batting an eye, especially if it's digital. We wouldn't have dupes, copies, or fakes if someone didn't steal the idea from someone else. If you're a big name then dupes or replicas aren't a huge deal, but if you're an individual or small business they can ruin you. They have the money to pay for the expensive legal teams that you can't afford.
I don't know in the USA but here one resource you can use to defend your IP over something is to send a postal letter with the idea to yourself and not open it. The postal stamp they put has a date and is an government official marking so you can use it as a proof if you sue (if you don't open the letter obvs)

She finally broke up with him, but the damage was already done. Choosing to associate with someone so knowingly problematic and then trying to play nice with the woman he publicly shamed was NOT a good look. I’m a Swiftie but man, that was disappointing.
Her dating or even just associating with him was bad in every way possible. But recording and editing that music video would have taken longer then the time it was publicly know she was hanging out with him.
