Incredible! On a side note, Voli sure is a great student of him ^^ I can definitely hear the similar in their appoach. That whistle-like tone in their upper range is literally perfection.
On another side note, they show that lightening up when you ascending higher doesnt mean you lose power. Their upper 5th octave notes, as heady as it is (and it should be that heady), is incredible powerful with the overtones. One of my biggest "complain" with some of my fav metal singer is their throatiness in that range, sometimes intentionally because they think that create a more "powerful" sound. I just prefer the clean and cutting high notes.
my top note is G5 and then I have to warm up before any take for 20 mins and still I could reach G5 like 3x in a row, and that would be it for the day. To see that this dude reaching C6 is insanity.
I can hit Bb5/B5 with a masked head voice for half a dozen times before I start to feel a bit of fatigue. But my notes are nowhere nearly as powerful as this if I sing cleanly, I had to add a bit of scratchiness to give it the illusion of being more "powerful". And I find adding raspiness/distortion is MUCH easier than producing this kind of insane overtone that cuts through the air like butter lol. Michele Luppi is truly a virtuoso power metal vocalist.
And that doesn't mean Michelle can't use distortion either, his distorted notes are also top-notch, like the E5 around 7:05. IMHO, aside from him and probably his student Giacomo Voli, I think the only other metal/ rock singer can match his insane range, ease and technique would be Eaguri, an obscure Korean amateur singer and vocal tutor.
@@mauriciomonjarrez6726 Lione is great too and instead of luppi he is a consistent Singer the longest time luppi was in a band was Vision divine 3 Album thant after 2 Album he left Secret Sphere Sure now hes in Whitesnake but its Just Not my Style
Tra i tenori leggeri non credo abbia rivali in Italia, e anche in campo internazionale pochissimi hanno la sua facilità nella parte alta della quinta ottava in voce mista
One of the greatest ever
ONE OF MY FAV SINGERS EVER. SOOO UNDERRATED THE GREAT LUPPI!!!!
O vocalista de heavy/hard mais técnico que já existiu.

Great video.Bro.But why all is individual live?
