  • Sharing with you all my favourite Red velvet cake recipe
    Flour 2 1/4 cup
    Castor sugar 1.5 cup
    Baking powder 2 1/4 tsp
    Baking soda 1/4 tsp
    Butter 1/2 cup (113 GMs)
    Oil 1/2 cup
    Butter milk 1 cup ( 1 cup milk with 1 tbsp vinegar mix and allow to stand for some time mix well)
    Salt 1/4 tsp
    Vinegar 1-2 tsp
    Eggs 4
    Cocoa 1-2 tsp( or more)
    Vanilla 2 tsp
    Red food colouring 2-3 tsp or more as required ( liquid or gel)
    Grease and prep 3 8” pans
    Preheat oven at 175 *
    Sift flour bk powder , soda, salt , cocoa set aside
    Mix buttermilk with vinegar food colour vanilla set aside
    Beat butter well sugar till creamy add oil and beat well add eggs one by one scrape down sides often till you get fluffy creamy mixture
    Alternately add fry mix and wet mix and bring it all togeather
    Bake in oven at 175 * for 25 mins or till tooth pick comes out neat when inserted
    Cool in tin fir 10 mins turn out onto wire rack and cool completely before frosting
    Cream cheese frosting
    Butter 1/2 cup
    Cream cheese ( brick style ) 8 oz 226 GMs
    Icing sugar 4 cups (500 GMs)
    Vanilla 1-2 tsp
    Whipping cream 1/2 cup ( optional) for frosting purpose
    Cream the cream cheese well add in butter and cream we’ll add vanilla and sifted icing sugar a little at a time till you get smooth consistancy frosting
    Whip up the whipped cream till you get stiff peaks fold into the frosting
    Enjoy!!!!

      What cream cheese did u use ? If u have used the normal Amul spread the water content unit is very high that’s why it’s loose
      That’s why had mentioned brick style cream cheese

      Whipping cream has to be folded in not whipped in hope u didn’t whip it in
