You are right about the If The World acoustic solos. I'm quite sure that Street of Dream's fast solo is being played by Robin Finck. Also Prostitute's solo is missing, not on purpose.
This shit is just amazing. I will miss Buckethead being in GnR. Look, Slash belongs as the guitarist of GnR. I won't dispute that. I don't think anyone should. But for all its flaws, CD represents the one and only instance of recorded music we'll ever have with arrangements, lyrics, writing and vocals by Axl Rose and lead guitar by the uncontested single best shredder in the world. It'll never be "Use Your Illusion," and for the record I don't think Buckethead has a bone in his body bluesy enough to produce the kind of soulful guitar character Slash seems to just effortlessly produce. But listen to this guitar work, then put on "Contraband" by fucking Velvet Revolver and try to make a sane argument that we'd all be better off with more material from that lineup of musicians than the insane collection that produced this stuff, no matter how overwrought some of it ended up sounding when final production was complete. I just hear Buckethead play stuff like this and think to myself "wow - this is NEVER going to happen again."
