  • Soap Skin and Bubble is a SketchUp extension designed to help you easily create skins and faces along non-coplanar and complex objects. You can then edit these organic shapes to create things like tensile structures and other shapes using tools like sandbox tools.

Thank you so much Justin. I tried to use soap skin in the recent past to create a complex face, but I thought the first face it would show was the finished product. I just needed to press enter. 😂 These tutorials may be very simple for the experienced, but you help out a lot of people. Thank you

Love your tutorials, they are clear and detailed enough that they don't leave one scratching one's head. Just subscribed to you on Patreon. Now... the problem at hand and which might be covered in a past tutorial? How do I apply a texture to the created face on an SS&B model without it being divided into those individual squares, and therefore no flow, but a broken pattern? Thanks Justin, you have saved my life on more than one occasion.

You might want to try ThruPaint - ruclips.net/video/RoVHjmUBUNE/видео.html - It will map materials to complex surfaces - thanks for the support! :)

Minor point - Soap Bubble creates a "Surface" or "Mesh" which is composed of "Faces".

I'm suggest that you short your video tutorial because it takes too much time
