Girl I've been dying my hair at home for years and recently took black box dye out with the color oops but I still have more to lift. Giiiirl when I say I had anxiety through this entire video 😭😂😳. You did that though you look amazing. You never need a 40 vol though. Developer for depositing colour is only 10-20 you only need higher for using bleach. You look bomb red.
You should do an update about ur hair like 4 months from now, and be careful with heat. I dyed my hair using the same stuff and flat ironed it twice, like 2 months apart. The second time I got it done professionally for a friends wedding but ended up with severe heat damage. Remember dying ur hair opens up the cuticle to deposit colour so therefore your porosity has changed. So be gentle with it. Nice video!
Honestly I enjoyed the testimony 💁🏽♀️ kept me locked in the entire time cause I’m like omggggg the strength and bravery 💅🏽😍. Thanks for sharing girl Glad you worked it all out because the final results look amazing.!!!! and YESS I’m noticing roots always last 🙌🏽🙌🏽.
Girllll when I tell you I just did the same thing you did?! 😭 I washed out my hair expecting a bomb copper color and all that dyed were my roots 💀 thank you so much for this video! I’m going to try the Color Oops and go from there!
no bc i used color oops once maybe 2 months ago and thought i would be good i just dyed my hair and it has patchy black spots 😩😩😩 maybe u just have to do multiple rounds of color oops
Thank you soooo much for this video!!! It’s such an honest and well explained tutorial! And TYSM for explaining the difference between Color Oops and Color Zap! The previous tutorial I saw also failed to mention it ISN’T bleach free, she basically said the products were interchangeable and I would have taken her word for it 🥲I made the mistake of putting black box dye over my faded L’Oréal HiColor Red hair, and of course I regret it and miss my red hair so this is my attempt at going back.
Your mistake is dying your roots first. You NEVER dye the roots first because they heat faster than your ends. No matter what hair texture you have, you never ever do roots first. Hope this helps!
@@Hetackyyou start about an in from the roots and dye that first . Depending on on if your bleaching or depositing color atleast 20-30 mins and then apply product on roots and let full head process another 20-30 mins… again the timing also depends on if you’re bleaching or depositing color. Sometimes the process takes longer then 30 mins to take though. And always start from the back of the head and work up preferably with 4 quadrant method . Your hairline/edges should always be last to be dyed since they process the fastest. Atleast for textured/Afro hair. Not sure if the hairline part applies to other hair textures . Hope this helps 😅
I started not to watch this but I'm glad I did. I colored my hair black maybe 2 years ago but idk of that matters now... guess we'll see lol. Thanks. Your hair is beautiful
You're just like me no lie!!😂 I aint finished until I get that right color. Okay I've reached 5 attempts unfortunately. Loved this video just because you showed what it's really like when it don't come out the the 1st few times. U did amazing ❤
I don't know if I'm trippin but I think your hair looked amazing every time..I have never been able to get my black hair to color..not even with bleach 😫
I know this video is older but I used color oops to lift my black dye and it left my hair feeling like a Brillo pad. I ended up having to do a big chop 😩
Had to sub! I love this. just got my hair dyed and paid more than I should’ve just so it could come out way darker than what I requested. definitely gonna go back and dye it myself (like I should’ve to begin with) Thanks girly, it came out so beautiful 💗💗💗
I’m literally going through this now but I dyed it twice before using color remover 😭 so now I have to remove and start over praying it works and comes out nice 😂
Love it 😍 I just went thru this last week smh… so I gave up and dyed it back to black 😢 but imma try this color oops to try again… thank you girl!!! Love the color
i wish i would've watched this earlier!! i'm sitting here after color zap bleached my hair and now have hot roots after attempting l'oréal hicolor afterwards 🙃
my hair dye was black permanent and 7 or 8 months old. I do not live where I can access hicolor or a Sally's or any American conveniences I want to dye it though red
After using color oops and rinsing it all out , when do you think would be a good time to put the hicolor in my hair? Like should I dye my hair the same day as the color oops?
such a realistically helpful video! Loved how honest you were and it came out so great!

The hair looks beautiful lol just can’t follow the tutorial to achieve the same color 😂😂. I appreciate the transparency tho boo.

Wait so how long should you dye the roots, and how long should you dye the ends?
She said that already, that was one of her mistakes 😅
That's the first thing she said though

Thanks girly, it came out so beautiful 💗💗💗
I used color zap on my jet black hair and it got all of it out in one try. Crème of nature conditioner helped with the dryness.
Whew Chile...I definitely appreciate your honesty... but... Lawds that was some resilience on your part👏
I love the end results ❤
I appreciate you showing the mistakes. It was almost like watching myself. I would have been on attempt 25
I love this video. I’ve been trying to figure out a color to dye my hair

This video was so helpful seeing your mistakes Thankyou
Came out beautifully!!
I was so engage and worried your hair was going to fall out lol but in the end all was well you look beautiful 😊
Please post what u use to moisturize ur hair. Cause I also just dyed my hair and it was dry 😭
I’m literally going through this now but I dyed it twice before using color remover 😭 so now I have to remove and start over praying it works and comes out nice 😂
Colorfix is the best hair dye color removal for both semi and permanent. I stand by this have used this sooo many times 😂 get it at Sally’s
Love your results sis !!! Next time use only L’Oreal intense color it’s work great by it self I’m jet black an it worked for me ..

Lovely color, what’s the name of the instrumental?
What was the length of time between your attempts?

How long did you have to wait before you tried the color oops ?

Tried this but color oops didn't work for me.

Please add olaplex or k18 to your hair routine
Do you still have hair 😮
After using color oops and rinsing it all out , when do you think would be a good time to put the hicolor in my hair? Like should I dye my hair the same day as the color oops?
