Crazy how everyone seems to have this opinion, so I guess I'm in the minority, but season two is really quite bad for how good season 1 was. Season two is still enjoyable and watchable, but its not even in the same ballpark as S1 was.
What didn’t you like about it I’m not familiar with the game or lore.
@@geekedupprod Well, in short I think it really felt like things were tried to be hastily tied together. First few episodes started out pretty good, but then it quickly devolved into "lets tie off everything somehow quick" mode. Eg.: most of the storytelling was now musical compilations and flashbacks, and then they added the timey wimey alternate timelines crap creators put in when they dont know how to get themselves out of a corner or in limited runtime.
The black rose also just felt shoehorned in with no explanation or really any sense of what they can do or what their limits are, kind of just inconsistently, randomly having the ability to kidnap people (sometimes).
It all felt super rushed and random. Like they originally had a bunch of ideas and a rough direction, they made real quality work in seasons one setting everything up, but then higher ups said "You have 9 more episodes to wrap everything up, make it work somehow".
I think the quality greatly suffered in storytelling.
