Thank you 🙏 I used K & N previously in my old car Toyota GT86 so I was used to the ease of installing and knowing its engine specifications is also an added bonus plus the nice intake noise it makes. The exhaust is a resonator deleted on the exhaust. It hasn’t been straight piped or anything still has the catalytic converters too. No additional added rear back boxes either. Tailpipes have been changed for slightly bigger ones too.
Sweet. I can't wait to get my exhaust asap. I'm going to get one w electric valve and have it installed so when I place the car in sport mode, the valve opens and my luxury convertible transforms into a loud beast! Best of both worlds my friends! And yes I'll be going into sport mode when passing my ex's house 😆
Hi, really sorry for the late replies I’m getting back to you. Here’s a link to the induction kit from K&N website. I would use the website to double check as it will list all the compatible parts including this induction kit. www.knfilters.co.uk/69-8701tp-performance-air-intake-system Hope this helps 🙌
Hi the car is a 2015 reg, no other mods done other then just the back box exhaust system and a K & N induction kit. Fuel consumption has improved slightly although noting major or massive. Depends on how you drive the car, but when it sounds like this and has good amount of power it’s always tempting to floor it 😅🙈
You should😁🤟, a few other aftermarket brands are available too. We used K&N as I had it on my previous car. They are easy to fit and give good sound/performance.
Im wondering if this kit would fit my mark X..... It has the same engine as your lexus. sweet sounding engine when you have an induction kit and exhaust on it.
@@kavthegamer Thanks, I figured it might fit. Your Is sounds great, dude! The V6 sounds more alive! Im also wondering if with a little modification the engine could be converted into the 3.5 litre engine...wondering if it would be a case of swapping out pistons etc. We have the same engine (although in diffrent cars)... is this something you have been considering in the future aswell? increasing displacement to gain more torque and BHP? Im wondering if it would be a costly conversion.....
@@TheRealSupaDice hi thank you. So far the only things changed are the exhaust and the induction kit on the car. In terms of more power I would say definitely a re-map will help give more BHP and if you wanted remap for pops and bangs. I haven’t decided on anything else major performance wise to the engine. Changing the pistons etc and fuel ignition will improve the BHP. I would say try to remap after installing an induction kit and exhaust system see how it feels 😁
Hi thank you glad you enjoyed the video. Tools I used was screw driver set/socket set and panel remover tools to not damage any plastics being removed from the engine bay. Very simple easy tools nothing speciality required for this job👌
@@jayw1738 hi, yes you can do, it doesn’t do much to keep the engine bay any cooler. It’s just car manufacturers want everything plastic and hidden now. You can even plasti dip or wrap the engine cover to something else or paint it using high temp engine paint for a new look 👌🏽
Hi, I’m not too sure tbh. The best thing would be to check with K & N on the website directly as it will list the compatible intake system for your vehicle🤟🏾 www.knfilters.co.uk Sorry I couldn’t be any more help on this.
Hello apologies for the late replies. The induction kit came with all the included accessories and parts. We used all the included accessories and the standard parts which were in the car engine already. I didn’t buy/use any aftermarket connecting pipes.
Hello, so I purchased the induction kit from a UK website. Depending on which country your buying from you can search around. You can always buy direct from K & N www.knfilters.co.uk/69-8701tp-performance-air-intake-system
Hi apologies late replies, fuel consumption has actually improved slightly since installing the induction kit. K & N always quote the induction kit improves performance and fuel economy. In this case it has been better and improved. But also can increase fuel consumption as your driving because always tempted to floor it 😅🙈
Yes a noticeable difference mainly in the acceleration. K&N have stated it’s a 5bhp increase hardly noticeable and not worth putting on a dyno run😅 will give you a nice engine intake noise.
Hi it’s a custom back box exhaust, without resonator, and silencers added to make it a little quieter. Exhaust is not branded all custom fabricated. ✌️
100% agree with you. Most modern day cars all have plastic covers hiding the engine. Much prefer when you can actually see the engine with no covers ✊🏽😁
@@vicktor5570 Hi so I only have tested and installed the K&N intake system I believe you can get Blitz intake system or a few companies do a panel replacement filter if you don’t want to install an induction kit
Hey guys, reason toyota puts all the plastic is to cover the injector and engine noise. When i swapped my is350 engine, i decided, fuck the plastic, and threw it all away. Big mistake. Direct injection noisy without it
Check out the new "Black Grill" on the Lexus we installed :D ruclips.net/video/EpPkw_Sq_lE/видео.html
