TIKI MUGS | My Collection

I have awakened from the graves of RUclips! Here's a look at my tiki mug collection. :)
PS, if you're wondering about the mug I'm drinking from, it's a tiki mug in the shape of Homère Clément, a notable Martinique politician most notably recognized (in the rum community) for his contributions in the development of agricole rhum on the island. (and PPS, the drink is a Donga punch - punchdrink.com/recipes/donga-...)
(annnndd final side note - this video was actually recorded pre-quarantine in early 2020 and I've only just recently finished editing, but hopefully none of the info has become outdated since then :P)

I have a couple vintage ones with a subtle pattern & a lot of subtle, neutral colors & I use those to hold my aquascaping tools.
I love that sea urchin one & the nautilus mug! So neat!
I'm planning a jungle/tiki themed aquarium spot in my living room & am making some fun tiki things to decorate the area while waiting for the hubby to build a stand for my 55 gallon tank. I love the "tacky" tiki decor having been exposed to lots of mid-century modern, tiki, basement bars as a kid.

Thanks for the overview, I’ll be getting into some tiki collecting soon. I have a standup bar already in storage. Temporarily displaced due to an apartment building fire. Once I get settled into my new place in the spring I plan on decorating my bar area tiki style and will be on the lookout of some of these and will make that drink.
