Dude, The taxi drivers in Baguio City are very honest, all of them use metered payment, unlike in Manila City where everyone is a scammer. No one will take advantage of you in Baguio City, local people of Baguio are very proud people, they will never stoop down and lower their pride to become petty scammers. But I can also say that there are some petty criminals from other neighboring cities and provinces that go to Baguio City to do their illegal activities.
Baguio is beautiful 😍 I love the climate. Being from NYC 🇺🇸I always stay at the Cedar Peak on Mabini Street when I’m there. The night market is just across the street. Enjoy 😊 ❤my friend
Subbed! Love this video. That lady Ate Carmen is very nice striking up conversation with suggestion/recommendation, and tips what to do in Baguio, also, at least to pass time 4 hours of journey not being bored on the bus, ended up talking to her which I like that kind of vibe. I for one, have never been to Baguio, but I've known coworkers and friends who hailed from that area of Luzon, and the same thing they wanted me to visit this place. One day soon, will make that happen. Watching you from Southern California, but originally from the Visayan part of the Philippines, province of Aklan, in Panay Island. Anyhow, learned a lot from this video, thank you for sharing! This is my first time to watch video of yours. So far, so good! Btw, you said, you've been to the Philippines already 4 times since 2021, wondering what it is about the Philippines you kept coming back. Was waiting for Ate Carmen to ask you that question, lol. Thumbs up! 🙂
Please follow traffic rules. @44:29, you crossed the street on Session Road while the pedestrian light was red. Avoid the inconvenience of visiting the ticket office and paying a ₱500 fine for disregarding traffic regulations.
44:44 The heck dude, the traffic light is green for the cars, why did you cross the street? Can't you see that people are still waiting for the traffic light to change? Dude, this is Baguio City and people here are following the traffic rules. You looked arrogant, people are staring at you for not following the rules.
@@cjillaalaphadog6382 No, you're wrong. He was just lucky that there's no policeman at that area at that moment. Police officers are very strict in Baguio City, especially in traffic rules. He will definitely get fined PhP 500 if he was caught jaywalking.
It is NOT a scam, that's another bus type, an upgraded one instead the ordinary aircon bus you had at 11am schedule. And I think, the 11am bus had no seats assigned, it is a first come first served basis...if it's full, the norm is to take the next bus of the same class/type. Usually, when you asked the bus conductors/staff where the specific bus for that time schedule would be, they would allow you to board the bus and wait inside.
whats a scam is they try to pack as many people on the bus like sardines Ignoring the safety and comfortability of the passengers. If they have 50 seats, they should only book 50 seats. Simple logical math . People will stand for a short trip, but hours to baguio . I dont think so
@@cjillaalaphadog6382 haha there's a stop light there for vehicles and pedestrian, if the green light is on then automatically the pedestrian stop light is red, so that means he crossed the pedestrian lane

You were wrongly assigned to a fully booked bus, but the next bus is the upgraded first class with a 1-2 seating arrangement, fewer seats, and a higher cost. The additional P450 was not a scam but the amount you owe for the total fare. Presenting your naive assumption online as factual is totally unfair and demeaning. A major bus firm scamming? This is a serious accusation that needs a response from the company.
what's a scam is they try to pack as many people on the bus like sardines Ignoring the safety and comfortability of the passengers. If they have 50 seats, they should only book 50 seats. Simple logical math . This is a simple misunderstanding as Filipinos tend not to explain things clear or proper. NO response is needed by the bus company. Just company's and the people who represent them need to do better customer service and communication is all.
@@cjillaalaphadog6382 you heard the conductor say the bus was fully booked and did not try to squeeze him in. The teller made a mistake for reasons that can only be assumed. The issue is what he said about being scammed because of the extra charge and posting it online for the world to see
dude thats only a small dollar amount and you should have researched before going to know the correct fare amount you are posting faces of people here and saying you where scammed didnt watched the whole vid i know im watching western stupidity
lol , how do you know its a small amount to him? you think every white guys got money lol. Its the bus companies problem for not only over booking, but not being able to communicate properly and explain why the new bus fare was more.

@@isreeramotar3868 thank you sir!
To be honest, i would rather pay extra for first class and have guaranteed more comfortable seats than to deal with first come first serve.

Try the Night Market.
During Amihan season the weather in Baguio goes down to 9 Celsius but the coldest in Benguet is Atok which is 0 Celsius
