- Adam “Armada “Lindgren was born on March 28, 1993 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Armada was born into a large family, the fifth of ten siblings, and it was through them that he discovered Smash. His older brother, Alexander “Aniolas” Lindgren, took him to a local tournament in 2004, which kicked off his love of competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee.

This was much better than m2k’s. Armada’s story never been told in such an engaging narrative
m2k's video just painted him as a villain and then the video ended lol. there's so much more to m2k's story, thescore did not do him justice
@@codesymphony yea it definitely seemed like they skimped on m2k's video, but then again samox did such a good one on m2k with the smash documentary that it was hard for them to say anything that hasnt already been said on him

Hoenn101 he did that at Apex 2014. I think it was just a mistake in the video.
That was a doubles game, but it was down to 1-stock on each side, so two of the players were out. You can clearly see them sitting there, though, not playing.

I honestly think HBox has one of the best storylines in Melee right now. From "always a bridesmaid never a bride" to number one in the world for the first time ever just this year. All the while giving up a bright future in engineering to pursue Melee.
You can feel how you want about his playstyle, but his story is so good.

Tselel I use to have a small issue with his playstyle. But now I recognize his GAME PLAY is sick. But he is such a shit person. Oh my Lord. Like him breaking down at Evo. Hugging Zain. Surprise host at super smash con awards. He hogs so much screen time and like refuses to play friendlies so ppl can't play the best puff. Wat human trash.....nice back air tho
How is that being a shit person? Breaking down at evo, i saw that as very humanising and an awesome moment. Not playing friendlies? It's his career! He has a niche character and until others figures it out he shouldn't have any obligations to give them anything. It's a COMPETITION, do what's necessary to win. How can you not respect that? (I'm not even a big hbox fan, i'm just sick of the senseless hate)
I wish this covered his Project M career, that's how he got the Swedish Sniper nickname after all.

@@AHGavInDaUSA as far as I remember, the sniper nickname didn't come up from melee. It kind of just started getting mentiond by casters at melee tournaments. But I wasn't watching a lot of brawl/project/minus coverage back then, so take this with a grain of salt

Awesome mini-doc. He's a god, but is a level-headed dude that shares his knowledge/insights, that's what I like him about the most.
Such a great competitor, hes traveling to north america for his passion and putting a lot of time in the game and hes always so humble. Good shit armada if you ever read this, you are a role model, big respect to you!
