Oh, assailed in an isolated farmhouse. More American George Romero and Universal Studios homage, than Hammer horror. The same is indicated by the lycanthropes, too. This could have been a concept that the writer had enthusiasm for, without knowing how to end a story encompassing all of these various, clashing monster factions. With the Mandragore serving as a MacGuffin device, potentially as a basis for a Transilvane monsters-only focused one-shot/origin but especially for Superman's (or any DC hero's) insertion into the setting. The premise was more interesting than the shortened resolution, perhaps. And with the final page, in typical writing fashion, alluding to a return to Transilvane I still don't think that happens or will happen. Oh well. Entertaining gimmick, for this anthology series. It's no Legends of the Dark Knight. But fun enough. Anyway, thanks Marinus, I'm going to get back to resting and ideally comic-reading not just RUclips catching-up on this day off...take care, my friend, and enjoy this end to your week.
Yeahhhh. I don't mind this, but it's too much story with too little time to wrap it up. The Mandragore was important...what 2 seconds? lol. yeah it was like "bye! Never see you again.' it was fun anough and it was cool seeings Ladrons art again. Yes rest up, Mike and read some fun comic :) Take care buddy!
