Hi it's us again who followed your tips on driving from Mumbai to Goa in mid July via the Anuskura Ghat - excellent data from you guys - getting ready to drive my X5 back to BOM now in the first week Sep - Could you please guide me if we should take the same route (NH 66 to Ratnagiri, then turn off to the Anuskura Ghat, and onwards to join the NH 48 to Mumbai via Pune BOM expressway ? With the amount of Rain we've had between mid July and now, are the roads still good ? Thanks a lot guys ! Best regards Glenn

Hi there, Hope you're trip is coming along well.
Here's the latest on the Anuskura Ghat road condition while we came back last week: ruclips.net/video/_8tDvThQTE4/видео.html
You will find a few potholes now on NH 66. The initial 2 kms of Anuskura Ghat has a few potholes too.
But I was able to navigate my 5 series without hitting the bottom.
The roads after the initial 2 kms of Anuskura Ghat are still the same. Zero potholes and a pleasure to drive.
My friends Drove from Amboli Ghat earlier this week and they said it was horrible.
So, I would recommend the same route.
Goa to Kolhapur Pachal Fata via NH 66. Then right from there to Amboli Ghat, Malkapur, Karad, and NH 48 to Mumbai.
The Solapur stretch of NH 48 has random potholes in all lanes. So, that drive was stressful.
But the rest of the path till Mumbai seemed clear.
I hope you have a wonderful journey. Looking forward to your updates about your journey once you reach home.
      Take care.

@@SandyAndKaran Just read back on your post - am a little confused so just to clarify : We have to drive north on the 66 and turn off Right at Ratnagiri correct ? Because you mention Kolhapur Pachal Fata ... Unless that's what it's called at Ratnagiri ? Second Question : Right from there to Amboli Ghat ? You mean Anuskura Ghat correct ? Thanks to please advise - cheers

      @@GlennConsolgroup Oops, my bad.
This is where you need to take the right for Anuskura Ghat.

The roads from Kolhapur pachal Fata to Anuskura Ghat is much better than from Ratnigiri.
Yes, correct. Right from there to Anuskura Ghat and not Amboli Ghat.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
