We started from Mumbai at around 6am, reached Karad at 11.45, and the ghat at about 1pm and Sawantwadi by 6pm, we took a lot of stops in between to click pictures & videos. Also as I mentioned in the video one must not expect good restaurants on the stretch from Karad to Rajapur. Rest all other details have mentioned in the video.
I'm not sure about the exact name, but it was approximately 22kms before Karad. Also there's as white board with red coloured ink conveying that the right turn shouldn't be taken from there.
Took this route.. was amazing.. the roads are super smooth.. only worry is once u cross kharad, there are literally no petrol pumps and even a puncture wala.. so can be risky

Is the Anuskura ghat easily negotiable with motorcycle? How steep are the slopes?

Yeah but things have improved slightly these days as the vehicular traffic on that road has been increasing.
