This body style f150 has always been my favorite. When the supercharged Harley trucks came out I wanted one more than anything else lol. IMO even with 180k on the clock 7k for it was a steal. There's one local for sale right now for 14k same exact truck. Fewer miles, but still 14k. Sick bro!
$7,200 for an '03 Shamu. Cripes, that's pretty damn good. Any hard to find parts (mainly lightning, Harley, Heritage edition, etc.) go for a goo chunk of change on these trucks.
I used to have a similar rubber bed mat for my 1995 S-10. Take it out of the bed, make a bucket of soapy water with a stiff-bristled brush in it, spray it with Westley’s Bleche-White, scrub it with the soapy brush and prepare to be amazed. It’ll end up looking like new. You could probably even hit it with some Meguiar’s tire shine for good measure.

I’ve dealt with trailer sway before. It’s no joke and scary as hell. I think that’s a balence issue over the trailer axles. I’m glad you made it back safe.

You need to sign up with Marriott and use them directly. They guarantee the best price available for their hotels. They have a wide range from Fairfield to Courtyard to full blown resorts. And other brands as well. They are always clean and will allow last minute changes, usually without charges.
Randy, keep an eye on the spark plugs, they have a tendency to pop out and strip out head. Also there is a vacuum hose under the intake that goes bad. Pull plugs and use lock tight on them.

You're first mistake was using Priceline or any of those companies to book a room. Use Priceline or Expedia to find a room, then call the hotel directly. If the hotel does not have to pay Priceline, they usually give you the same price or better. Also, you don't have to go through a 3rd party to get a refund.
U know those key pad numbers at the door handle , the way u get the code to unlock with out the keys , there is a box with numbers on it , and those numbers u input them in the key pad , the location is on the right handside underneat the glove box , i thnk u need to remove the lower right foo t cover
In the future motel stays, always ask to view the room before paying. Better yet, get youself a small class C rv to haul the trailer on overnights and rent it out when not using it.
Those ford trucks are great. If taken care of they really last! Man that Harley 100th annv. edition, supercharged, awsome. Be nice to get the correct grill and lights, be worth more. Ive always been partial to Fords, they just hold up better. Love that paint scheme and flame stripes. Id keep that baby, its beautiful! Im 61 certified mechanic 35 yrs, owned my own shop for 12 yrs, done a ton of mechanicing, and i LOVE that FORD!! revved up yooper

Why did Ford have to detune the SVT Lightning’s 5.4L supercharged Triton V8 so that it could be used in the Harley Davidson Edition?
They did it for a higher tow rating.

The change over happened in late 2002 so all of them prior to that had the 4 thread heads.

Towing issues. Balance the tongue weight by moving the truck forward. At speed the balance shifts off of the tongue and will give you dangerous sway.
Here in the UK a car or pickup towing a trailer is not allowed to go more than 50mph

Put a smaller pulley on the super charger and it will increase performance a lot.
