One of two level crossings in Rye. This crossing was the second of the two to get upgraded with new barriers and new alarms. Like Rye (Ferry Road), the alarms are still located inside the barrier units, which is quite rare to see.
Thanks For Watching! Авто/Мото
I loved the old alarm.
Yeah, sadly they've been changed
Great video!
Thanks 😎
*Excellent video! All the best from Vietnam*
Thanks very much 😎👍
After the video of the old Grove Road Level Crossing, they did the same upgrade like they did with the other crossing.
No more broken alarm
Yeah, they did the same as they did with the Rye (Ferry Road) level crossing in Rye
Although the new alarms sound really quite nice in my opinion, they don't suit the crossing that well - the same goes for the barriers as this level crossing has just lost all of its charm since I was last here - the GWE barriers and the old-fashioned two-tone alarms definitely suited the crossing much better IMO. Great video anyhow 👍🏻😁
Do you think the train tracks are old
@@pigeonsandtrafficlights8999 I'd say they were. The line which this level crossing is on has quite a lot of history, so it's certainly fairly old 😎
Unfortunately, old equipment doesn't last forever. It's interesting seeing alarms kept inside the barrier units however. Thanks 😎👍
@@SouthEastLevelCrossings thank you friend
The alarms sound like Bentley station level crossing
There is 4 alarms in the box in feery road lc but i didn't cross with my other video from this nearly night time. Really good
Thanks.
1:42 bless you
great shot was this line double track though out i think it was 😃
Thanks! It is single track over the crossing but there are 2 tracks for the station with 2 platforms
Looks great, but still a shame the old stuff's gone.
Yeah, it is a little - shame I didn't film the old crossing in daylight
👌👌
👍👍
I did not know that their is 2 closing level stopping
1:44 and 1:52 Gesundheit!
I could not see the alarms. Where were they?
Inside the barrier units
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel I see. Thanks
