I thought there will be a triac or something to control the speed of the motor. It's connected directly. Only one diode between high speed and low speed.
It would be good to know what happened inside the motor. Would be great if you could disasseble it too next time. Silver Crest is selling many crappy stuff in our country.

Can you test the motor with a 9 volt battery to see if it’s working
i think, it cannot be tested with 9 volt battery
