How is taking a picture of someone going to stop them from committing a crime? How can you ban them from using public transportation? Is the driver supposed to block the door? How about we just enforce law and order by allowing police to arrest people, D.A.'s to prosecute people, and judges to sentence people who have committed crimes? The sentencing and bail reforms that have been implemented have not worked.

i was recently in malaysia and thailand and cant believe their metro system is by far safer than Los Angeles considering they are 3rd world countries , how embarrasing.

My parents live in Northridge and I visit them quite often from out of state. An old friend from high school and I always try to meet up at Tommy's on Roscoe for a chili burger, and after hearing about this sickening murder, I had to write to my friend and confirm we had just seen her at her work doing her job weeks prior. In fact, we had seen her a few times the past several months. She seemed very conscientious keeping an eye on things at Tommy's at her job. A job; something the monster who took her life did not have and had no reason or right to be in the subway station.
Why make the general public subject to facial monitoring? This only infringes on the public freedom of person. Why not start an inserted Tag monitoring device for REPEAT offenders that set off alert activation. Facial recognition will NOT stop crime.

Metro doesn't care only care about government funding. The Metro embassidor is only one way to spend government funding and microbus too . Metro never spend money in security for us including the passengers.

You have to adjust with the times. To Make the ride more safer i have a tip Learn to smoke a vape or cigarettes. If u sit in the back of last car you can now smoke on the train and nobody will mess with you if you give them a cigarette or are using drugs .

Metro drivers themselves are asking to get beat up . Just yesterday I got in the bus . A man behind me greets the bus driver and says “THANK YOU BROTHER” the bus driver got mad and yells at him “ I’m not ur brother” I understand the bus driver wants no associates but that negative way to talk to others is gonna get u STUPID bus drivers fucked up. And the bus driver had road rage . At each bus stop he would honk repeatedly at the people waiting
