I really love the polaroid go, as the size fits better for those who love scrapbooking or journaling on smaller size journals. My journak is in A6-B6 size and tbh the regular size polaroid or instax would be too big and take too much space for me. So yeah, some people do want smaller size polaroid film!
I'm completely binging your videos for a few days now and oh my, I can't live without 'em anymore! With such great content quality and video quality, you're fastly turning into one of my top RUclipsrs. Thank you so much for your videos, they made me fall entirely in love with polaroids (which is unfortunate since I live in Brazil and everything here is (extremely) costly haha but Instax will do the job for now, until we move out of the country and I can start trying polaroid). Anyways, keep up the amazing work!
Hey man, just found the channel, I love instant photography and I've enjoyed a few of your videos now! Very informative and entertaining, keep it up dude!
I think I will try this Camera out as really its just about having fun and for me that is what this is.. a small slr with this format would be a cool thing to have :)
I really love the transparent frame you used to display the Polaroids! I’ve always been interested in instant film, but I have a question/possible video idea that I’d love to see? I’m on the edge of diving into the instant film world, but the thing that has prevented me from finally taking the dive is: what to do with the photos I take? Yes, I can put them into a photo album, but do you have a list of fun and unique ways to use instant photos that may be unique to instant photography over just using a cell phone? Like, that frame idea in this video is a cool example! I also thought it would be cool to have a display side table that had a transparent surface that I can throw photos underneath to have a living collage I update throughout the year with photos I’ve taken. Or maybe used to stick to a gift box as a “name tag” that a person gets to keep when they unwrap a present? Home made photo booth for parties at a convention or home corner vignette or something? I dunno! I think it would be fun and useful to get more idea of what to use instant photos FOR that are unique to instant photography? Thought it was an idea worth suggesting! Good video!!!
We scrap book. Never throw out over exposed or under exposed film. We cut into shapes and or draw on them with paint markers for the scrapbook. We have a few different Fuji film instax squares wides and minis also the mini evo and this polaroid. We break up our scrapbooks into spring summer and fall winter and special occasion albums/ scrapbooks. Buy film in bulk. Find opened boxes etc for cheaper film. I follow a ton of different pages on instant pic cameras. The more you research the more you’ll learn and know. Happy snappin!!!
This video is amazing thank you so much for all your hard work xx I really can’t decide wether I should get it for no reason because as you answered my exact question about the blue skies LOL , might still be cute to have it though aaaah I don’t know😅although I have a few cameras I don’t use anyway so why not😀 and you’re soooo right when you were talking about this dragging in new people to get them interested in instant photography 🥰🥰
The blue sky CAN be seen but it’s really tough to capture. I did a few times as seen in the video but you have no real control unfortunately. Highly recommend getting this camera though you wouldn’t regret it.
I got one of these cameras a few days ago, and I don’t know how to get the pictures to turn out. It came with a two pack of pictures and every single one was too dark and it had brown around the edges. I can’t seem to figure it out 😢
I’m honestly glad I’m starting with the GO right now. I’m going to Mexico tomorrow for a week and I wanted a good camera quick to take and o started looking for comparisons/reviews and came across you and I’m glad I did cause you saved me from getting the NOW+ gen 2 and now I got the GO and I tested it already and love it ! The photos aren’t as small as I thought they were and it feels nice to carry I love how the pictures come out so yeah from here I might get a one step 2 or this other camera you reviewed that it was great lol still trying to remember the names, but thank you! Also reason I didn’t get the instax mini is cause my woman has that one so we’re gonna take pictures with both haha
Excellent review pointing out the pros and cons in real life experience. Got mine on April 27 and tried 1 film pack. Think I need a one or two more packs to better get to know the camera. Don’t mind the missing tripod mount (no place for it) but would have liked an exposure compensation possibility like on the Polaroid Now. Why not buy both, the Go for portability and the Now if you want a bigger picture😉. Landscapes can give good results if there are some ver light subjects in it or more sky in the frame, just one of my observations. Really hope your channel gets more subscribers, keep on the good work.
Picked up a New in Box Polaroid gen 2 for $50 cause the box was dented, been liking it a lot so far. Hopefully we get some Black and White in Go format at some point
Just discovered your channel and love the quality of your videos. I'm looking for an instant camera for a wedding guests book and thinking this is the one
14:06 Mind blown. I had my money on the SX70 being on the left !! Wow in this capture I actually prefer the output of the Go. Great video btw, you seem like a super friendly and enthusiastic guy. What do you use to scan your photos btw ?
I got a go on the way and thanks for the info on displaying the pics and about scanning them into a pc that made it feel worth the purchase, and I really like the design I like the Fuji mini cam film is slightly cheaper but I like this look better
I got one from my friend this christmas cause she saw me staring at the picture of jhope from bts holding polariod go. This video is very helpful for beginners like me, thank you so much! Hope not to waste some films.
Just bought this after watching your videos, now subscribed and enjoying your content. Question, what is the best method to scan a picture to digital? Appreciate your recommendation.
Thank you for such a detailed review! I just got the Fujifilm Instax 40 (pretty much a mini 11 housed into a fancier looking body) and I’ve been really stuck between returning it and getting the Polaroid go. The only thing that’s been stopping me from doing that is the quality of the pictures. I feel like the instax pics are much more clear than the go (based on what I’ve been seeing on RUclips reviews) and cheaper for each shot, but the camera is a lot bigger. Which would you recommend (go or instax) for someone that wants to take mostly nature pics/ flowers/ animals / and face shots?
I have never used an instant camera before and I'm probably going to buy this camera very soon. One weird question I have is, what do you do with the photos after taking them? Put them in your pocket?
Hey! I love this review! But I have a question if you’re able to answer. I got my Polaroid go the other day and the first photo came out perfect but then every one of them after came out over exposed!! No flash or anything?
Glad it was helpful. Hmm lots of variables here. But if you use flash it using a fixed shutter speed. If you turn the flash off it uses the light meter depending on your situation The light meter must’ve been reading incorrectly
Ehhh I feel like polaroid still doesn't have their shit together on terms of sharpness, contrast and how washed out the colours look in their film. I love the new camera, great idea but they really need to improve a lot to really compete with instax.
Hi, I'm new to instant film and just got a instax mini 40 but kinda also wanted to get this. Do you think it would be worth it or should i get something else? Also do you still use this camera today? Been enjoying the video!! Keep it up!!!

Great info to have!! Thank you!!
Now I don’t know which one to get???? The go or the now???? New subbie great videos.
Thanks for joining the journey! Hmmm if your looking at cost as an issue go with the GO. Film is cheaper
But would you recommend the go over the Instax Mini?
It kinda depends on your preference. Comparing Polaroid and instax would be like comparing apples to oranges.
Chris, what is more fun for you, the polaroid go, or the instax square?
That’s a great question. And it would come down to camera. I would probably choose Instax square with the lomo square glass

Hmm I don’t think so as of yet. It just came out so maybe in a few months.
For now just keep it in the box it arrives in whenever you’re not using it
Did you use the flash for the outdoor shots you took?
No I always turn off flash when outside
