You don't need to know the reason; it simply goes there, being such a superbly beautiful work of music. 💖😊 P.s. The piano solo here is by Emile Mosseri, who composed this lovely piece and the entire soundtrack for this bittersweet film.
This music makes me see my whole life pass me by be it good or bad times I have been through but it eases my soul whatever the outcome of every situation!! Goose pumps and tears😢❤!
Recently, at work, I would get this eerie quiet atmosphere, and I would have a weird feeling. In the back of my head this song would somehow come to mind and I would hum it. Not knowing what this song is, I spent the next week searching for this song and finally found it on a random RUclips clip. It must be my subconscious doing a coping mechanism to calm me down because this song gives me a sense of peace, sadness, and it makes me think of life in general.
Composers don't do this by accident, the chords, the pads, the cellos everything evoke human feelings in the core of our soul... If you want to create something like this you don't do it just with your brain... Study human psychology and cinema soundtracks... Everything is studied and in the end they put a piece of their soul in there... and the final piece, is just a Masterpiece able to live more than the TIME itself...!!!

You are not alone, my friend. Beautiful music such as this, composed by Emile Mosseri for this bittersweet movie, "Minari", will bring tears to any human being wìth an actual soul who has experienced heartbreak during a few (or many) decades of adult life. Welcome to the "club". 💔💖
This song reminds me that Jesus gives meaning to life. His story inspires us to aspire to more than the physical. It helps us live our best lives here, on earth and fills us with the hope of eternity spent in God's presence. "For the suffering you experience now is nothing compared to the hope of glory to be revealed in us" I challenge you this day to study Jesus and what he STANDS for. Amazing song. To the composer, thank you. And to the listeners, God bless you 🙏
I have often wondered, for all of my seven-plus decades on this planet, why there are always a handful of people who feel compulsed to inject religion into Every conversation... especially when it concerns strong emotions and/or matters of the heart. Very tiresome. 😔
When I listen to it I have a strange feeling that I want to go to the edge of the mountains and enjoy watching the sunset and sit until night and follow the paths of the stars and sit under the moonlight
Laying down on the IKEA bed in the living room at Taman Permai 2, I recalled my childhood. The best days during secondary school were Fridays - school only lasted half a day. Praying at Jamek Mosque during Friday prayers felt different back then. Sundays were special too; I loved following my father on his C70 motorbike to the food stall. Sunday mornings were great, with roti canai telur and nasi lemak goreng. On Sundays, we would usually have lunch together - my whole family would gather, eating while watching Tamil movies, drinking tea, and my mom would fry potatoes. I remember early morning school days during primary school, following my dad and mom in the Proton Saga to school around 6 a.m. I used Brylcreem gel, the purple one, and the smell was amazing. My mom would make Nescafé or Milo, and I’d hold the cup in the car on the journey to school, listening to Minnal FM with some Tamil Islamic songs. The vibe was so good. I wish I could experience it all again, just once more… but now, I’m 31. 3 October 2024 1:28 AM
Your words carry such a rich, nostalgic warmth. It’s beautiful how you’ve captured the simplicity and joy of those moments, especially the small things like the smell of Brylcreem and the taste of roti canai telur. It’s incredible how those memories stay with us, and how they shape who we are today. The contrast between then and now - the way life was filled with those quiet, cherished rituals, like the Sunday mornings with your family or those car rides with your parents - speaks to the changes that come with time. The fact that you can still feel that joy and warmth even now shows how deeply those days are woven into your sense of self. It's understandable to wish for those simpler times again, but perhaps there’s something about them that you carry with you even now, in the way you approach life, or how you find small moments of joy. Do you think those moments of your childhood still influence the way you live now?

Well let’s see, the title is called “Jacob & The Stone”. This is a biblical reference to the story of Jacob using a stone as a pellow, as it was the only thing to comfort his head, that same night as he falls asleep he has an overwhelming and intense dream, as he sees a ladder connecting heaven and earth. Jacob may not have understood the dream, but hundreds of years later, long after Jacob had died, a little boy name Jesus was born. And he was the one that Jacob dreamed about, connecting us who are separated from God back to him. Hence the bold yet comforting verse when Jesus says “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”…..
Based on my interpretation, it is regret. Realizing the consequences of your actions having to sit with them every day wishing you could change the past, but in the end, you can't.
Jesus when the whole world was against him never gave up on the mission to save you from sin and death. He loves us so much he gave his life for us. Repent from your sin and turn to God
