See history brought to life and discover the story of the small farming community that was transformed into the railway capital of the world.
It's a tale that we're uniquely placed to tell-on the site of the original Grand Junction Railway Works at the heart of the UK’s busiest railway line, through our collection of engineering accomplishments and social achievements, we celebrate the past, present and future of Crewe.

Can you just turn up and is it open everyday during the week? Will take my little boy soon as he already loves watching them. He will love it there. Cheers.

i believe you are allowed to go aboard the old metrolink tram (1023) if you ask, but its very dusty and unmaintained.

looks a bit disappointing, only one locomotive in the Exhibition hall and those outside seem few and spread out ?

Found the Heritage Centre slightly overpriced and underwhelming to be honest. Nice to see the APT and HST but it's a poorly equipped attraction which can be seen in an hour or two. IMO
