All these years later and Huang Zhong's quote when starting his Musou rage at 11:15 still makes me laugh. XD I don't say that as a bad thing but just the way he says that always used to make me giggle as a kid. God I miss these games.
I wished some of the older game content get carried to the new ones.. XiaoQiao playstyle wasnt as childish, DaQiao feels more mature, Pangtong wasnt a lazy drunk, Yueying stance is actually graceful (the handbow on dw6 is nice as well, compared to her dw7-dw8 version, which shown more as fighter) Zuo Ci was actually using elements (they got this just on DW9), Guan Ping had a cooler stance on dw5, Zhuge Liang weapon actually look much realistic back then than the newer versions, Cao Ren actually uses the blade on his shield, I missed Pang De's old weapon, i hate the mace.. Good thing they bring back Liu Bei's design on dw9 (I hate the design they use from dw6), Huang Gai wasn't a big old brute with big ass weapon, While Zhou Yu's staff is good i missed his sword playstyle, such a calm swordplay.. Same as Diao Chan, the whip is nice, but i missed the Dual Maces, any new dancer character can use this.. The weird thing is Ling Tong and Gan Ning throughout the games, they always have good weapon.. Lingtong with both nunchucks, and the 3staff.. and Gan Ning with his sword from dw5, knives from dw6, scythe on dw7, and flail from dw8.. At least Lingtong's weapon being used by himself and Guan Suo.. i wished Gan Ning's dw5 sword & dw6 knives playstyle, Zhou Yu's dw5 sword playstyle, Diao Chan's dw5 dual maces playstyle would be reintroduced on newer versions for new characters, instead of making another weird playstyle.. would be included in newer version, perhaps dw10? They were so nice.. huft..
I feel like every great developer at this point has remastered a game, how come Koei cant remaster one of theirs? - Dw3,4,5 come on now. Plenty to choose from!

I wish someone would mod it to where the 'flurry' true musou finishers of DW3-4 would chain into the 'big hit' finishers of DW5. Liu Bei at 7:52 comes the closest to what I imagine.

Late reply. But I’d heavily disagree. I think they should trim the roster back down to somewhere in the 3-5 days. It’s way too bloated now with mostly clones. They need to then give everyone well thought out and completely unique move sets and musous, and a more personal/focused story with the more limited cast. They need to pull back from 1 vs 1,000 and make fights more personal with better ai like 2-4. Every soldier should be a threat. No more brain dead Dynasty Warriors, we have enough of that. Make combos important again like 3, and crowd clearing actually tactical and for a reason like 3 and 4. That would be my dream at least

@@riquta44 there is an interval beetwen zhuge's laser that make the enemy's ai has the chance to use guard, while gan ning's run can turn over the ai back and hit them unguarded. That's my opinion lol
I mean the ones with multiple hits and true mouso are the best because you get the burning flame damage and the hits from the attack like Zuo Ci is easily the best in that regard. Where as Zhuge and Gang is very very easy to miss one or more hits.
@@deathstar6998 yea that's what i mean "if you can hit properly", while zuo ci has good accuracy and damage, usually his musou do juggle the enemy which make the output damage half. while zhuge n gan do hit the enemy that still stand which probably make the highest full damage in game.
@@suezoimpala2635 But the juggling is good tho unlike Gang Ning or Zhuge which could get blocked or missed fairly easily if you juggle the enemy along with the true musou tick damage over time you will deal more damage overall. Best part is unlike Gang Ning and Zhuge where enemies can position behind you and attack you after your mosou since you locked in an animation before you can act. Zuo Ci, Zhen Ji and Pang Tong won't have that problem because their musuos juggle and hit everything around them also I don't think it reduces damage at all if they are juggled.

Zhuge's lasers are weakened. They are more than one lazer but when he shoots, all three are together as one. Dw4 target misses were better imo.
The real power of Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi's lasers in DW4 was that they benefitted from your Orb effect in your True Musou attack.
i think that gan ning and zhuge liang has the most damage if you can hit properly
Zhuge liang is easy to use but gan ning, he goes sonic mode which is nearly impossible to control
