Riding The Blue Ridge Parkway in The Rain | On a '91 Goldwing

- I rode the 91 Goldwing and Greg his 2016 H-D Fatboy in early September from Bristol VA on the 421 Snake to Mountain City TN and then on down to Boone NC where we got on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We then rode the parkway through some spotty rain to Linville NC. Upon exiting to Linville we ran into some fairly hard rain and had to seek refuge un the canopy of a gas station.

I live in Mich and we rode down to Cherokee to ride the Blue Ridge Pkwy. One of our stops was in the same store you visited. We rode for 5 days in the rain but once your wet just keep going. I loved that ride even in the rain. We stopped on the top of a mountain in the rain and the rain turned to hail and we had to take shelter in an outhouse. Love your video's and you old Wing. My Wing is a 98 just started to ride it again this year because I was paralyzed in 2023.
Hey Jim, you're right, once you're soaked you're not gonna get any more soaked! That hail though is a different story!

when you change out your windshield if you dont get the two deep dish cups on the outside and the two black headed screws on the outside as well your bike is going to rattle like crazy !!!!!!

Where did you find a faring piece? I have a 91 GL1500I, and I need the piece that goes under the seat, covering the fuses, same color as yours. Great bikes!
@shiretook Motosport.com showed on their website that they sold all different types of body pieces for the 1500. However, a few days after I ordered, I received an email saying the piece I had ordered was out of stock and because of the age of the bike they doubted they would ever have any more. Just my luck! Maybe you will do better!
