One of the rare occasions where I can't tell if I like the snarky puppy version or the original composition more? Maybe because the original is so amazing and they didn't change much, it's more her vocal tonality? Either way I'm blown away by this song on all levels.

My wife and I just saw Banda Magda last night at the Copper Door in Santa Ana. They were terrific! The bassist and drummer are marvelous musicians. The venue’s sound quality, well...it wasn’t mixed in a way that I could hear the guitar or keyboards well. Yet, I know they are equally as talented. But now, the lead singer; Extraordinary! (Yes capital E). The music passes thru her as if a deeply organic force that she can’t help (nor do we want to) she must present it with soul, power, love and rhythm. Add to it, she’s a pretty woman with a sensual presence fully complimented by a orange sherbet dress she wore well. The fact she plays the accordion is an added bonus. The woman sings with her soul and it sounds as good as it feels.
