The black flower shirt in particular reminds me of a question I was told to ask oneself when trying on clothes: Are you wearing them, or are they wearing you?
My perfect clothes are ones to which I don't give a second thought once they're on because they become like a second skin: yummy, supple, soft, moving with me to get done whatever needs doing for the day. Love to dress up, too--just very few occasions to do so in my life at present!
Once the menopausal weight battle is won, I hope to have more fun with clothes like you do, Valentina!

Valentina, I have black blazer from H&M probably from 2011. It was just $35 but never wore it because it was too boxy and I was used to wearing more tailored pieces. I just bought it because it was "in". A friend casually mentioned her tailor, like a real tailor. I went there and right away he said NO. Started pulling the waist etc. He charged me $50, which was a shock to me at the time. I'm still wearing that piece. Just because it's cheap it doesn't mean that an alteration isn't worth it :)

That durian spiked black vase is so gorgeous.
The pockets on the tan short jacket are exactly where most go -it is fine. And the white top w/black lace over the top will only take like 10 minutes to stitch the straps shorter in the back. You don't need a seamstress. First time watching you-thanks. Really like your husband how he actually cares about the stuff you got and the effort it takes to look nice and make a home feel like a home.

The small frame sunglasses, the formal cropped jackets with front flaps over pockets, jeans, the cami- can all go back (I think you can find better versions of those that work more effortlessly with your frame). I’m also 5’1 petite and though I Love the colour and fabric of the cropped jackets, the flaps add a bulk to the front and just ruin the silhouette. Also agree that removing the muffin top effect and extra fabric of high rise jeans is definitely a plus, but perhaps another pair of jeans (w.similar loose style) will be a better fit on you.

The back pockets on the jeans are way too low. They’re on your legs instead of your behind. It’s so difficult to find jeans with good pocket placement.

I have two pre-loved luxrul that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn't touch. It's not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

My heart always skips a beat when you show your beautiful thoughtful closet but I almost cried when you showed your lovely lingerie collection hung up. I totally get the “ memories” as well. I have a home that is larger than most but still not enough room for hanging the lingerie even though I purge relentlessly. I don’t usually comment on the clothes but you kept asking….so heck no to the jeans - the pockets are way too low and unflattering. Also it seems you have many more flattering sunglasses than the narrow ones. Oatmeal colored jacket was off with the pockets. The rest you figured out already. Thank you for the videos - I look forward to them very much. Love to you❤️

Great video today, Valentina! I too organize my lingerie this way since seeing how VS organized everything in the 1990s. I hang camisoles and shape wear, along with my nicer satin or cashmere robes, and pajama sets. I keep any hose or tights hung also, I just think it keeps things easier to find than having to hunt through drawer.
I respectfully don't care for the gray jeans - not the color, or the shape. You have a beautiful figure and they just don't flatter. I'm all for the low-rise, though! I usually either choose mid-rise or lower. I'm 5'1" and premenopause has added a bit of upper weight on me including chest 🙄 so I like having the look of a longer torso that lower-rise jeans give me. It seems to balance the look of my body out more so you see some abdomen! Whereas if I wore high-rise jeans, all you'd seelooking at me above that high waist would be boobs!!! 😮🤣 As you know, and I'm sure you'd agree - it's all about proportion - and for us shorter ladies, it's reeeeeaaaallly important to focus on.
