Yees we want the video for intransitive & transitive verbs, would be really useful. Thank you as always for your great job! I use your videos every day in order to study, you are the best!
Really appreciate the clarity you bring to grammatical topics! Most of the time when someone is explaining things like "intransitive vebs" and "direct object markers" I feel like I walk away knowing *less* than I did before (sometimes it's worse to be confused than merely ignorant). Your way of explaining things really cuts through the fog, especially with the multiple example sentences that put the concepts in concrete situations (i.e., an actual scene we can visualise) instead of just giving a list of abstruse rules and Textbook Japanese sentences nobody ever says. I know it must be a lot of work and take ages to put together, edit, etc., so I just wanted to say how great a job you're doing, and how much it's been helping me, and a big thanks for all the care and thought you put into these videos, because it really shows!
Hello! I am a begginer to japanese and your videos are absolutely VITAL for my grammar studies! I just want to thank you for keeping up this incredible quality over the years. It is a massive shame that this channel doesnt get the attention it deserves!
Great video thanks for making it! I have really struggled with ichidan and godan verbs and your recent video was a huge help. Similarly have been having trouble with intransitive and transitive verbs so I’d love a video on it!
Hello Game gengo. I wanted to let you know, that I started playing Detroit become human in Japanese, because of your tier list some months ago. You ranked it really high and I see now why, unluckily, I'm a bit slow in terms if reading and a bit poor in grammar. I hope you could wrap up a bit of the beginning of the game, because there are a lot of hard words, when you discover a dead body for example. If you don't see it anymore, will write it again on your newest video. You are definitely my most favourite Yt i discovered in terms of language learning. Keep going man❤
Can I ask an unrelated question about an anime ending? In one of the Sailor Moon Endings, there's the following sentence: すずし気な パールのドレス ひるがえして What does すずし気な means in this context? Why the 気 is at the end of すずし? Is it a combination of two adjectives in one?
Hey Sursayer, the difference is transitive/intransitive. What this means is that the action has a direct actor vs no clear actor. Like imagine the difference between 'X closed the door' vs 'The door closes'
I don’t usually watch the grammar videos in full but i make sure i like because no one in the world does videos like these
Matt's videos are very good for Nihongo learners! 👍
Your grammar explanations are on a whole different level. Thanks
