1 SAMUEL 16:6-7 NIV
6 When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.” 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Amen.
Can I just say how much I enjoy the Bible verses. It seems each time I read these on here, they're applicable to my life. Much love 💙
The Bible also says that Jesus is a dark skin man with white wooly hair he is not white revelation ch 1 v 14
@@DeadPiixxeldoesn’t the Bible also say something about not loving the world…? So, it really doesn’t matter what color Jesus’ skin was.
@@DeadPiixxel idk why people bring this up all the time, its so irrelevant what exactly Jesus looked like. He is the Word become flesh, Son of God, he is technically every race or any race you see him as. White Jesus, Asian Jesus, African Jesus, Middle Eastern Jesus; it doesn't matter.
You are the ONLY reactor to this film that picked up on and connected Gary’s raised fist in the hospital bed to the poster of the raised fists of the African American athletes from the ‘68 Olympics in Mexico City. That’s amazing. Well done!
Yes! This is another reason I enjoy reaction videos. Honestly, I’ve seen this movie dozens of times, and never really put that together like that! Made me see the scene in a whole new way, after I thought I knew it back to back.
I didn't even recognize that wow ...
I thought the poster was Jesse Owens.

I love it when the cop stops Julius and says “Heck of a game you boys played last night” 😊
Sports definitely brings people together
😮😮😮
God bless the man who carries you off... you are stunning
Thank you!!
Couldn't have said it better. She is a treasure without a doubt! I hope whoever gets the chance to be with her deserves that opportunity. A gift from God.
@@Californiablend Couldn't have said it better myself.. I've been thinking the same thing watching all your different reactions, all great and genuine btw 😁, and I just didn't know how to spit it out.. It's nice to know I'm not alone.. You're definitely one of the better reactors on RUclips, not only with your open mind and based mentality, but your stunning looks as well 🥰 thanks for not being a run-of-the-mill reactor and bringing something genuine to this current trend..
That would be me
This classic movie holds a special place in my heart because I knew all the real people the movie depicts. I was a senior at T.C. when those events happened. Some old-timers don’t like the movie because it takes great liberties with the facts, but most of us love it because it is great drama with an important lesson. Julius died five years ago after spending many years traveling around the country, giving inspirational talks on race relations.
Some truths and untruths: Alexandria was not a southern hick town but a cosmopolitan, metropolitan suburb of 110,000. T.C. had been integrated since 1965 and at the time of the events (1971) was 30% Black. Hammond (Yoast’s school) had just two Black students because it was in the rich end of town, and G.W., in the poor end, was 60% Black. Race was not the main issue at T.C.; school rivalry was the issue, due to the merging of the three schools. Boone was not new to the school. He had been assistant coach at T.C. for two years preceding the events, and he was my P.E. teacher in his first year, when I was a sophomore. I liked Boone a lot and had a good relationship with him even though I was not a football player (I was varsity cross-country and track).
As most people know, Bertier’s first car accident was not as shown. It actually occurred after the season, but the movie changed it for dramatic purposes. T.C.’s hardest game was not in the State Championship, but in the regular season, 21-16 versus Marshall. T.C. had 9 shutouts in 13 games. I saw all the regular season games. Oddly, the team’s best star was not in the movie; he was a running back who led the state in yards and touchdowns. Yoast was one of the best coaches in the state at the time, and there was widespread resentment over Boone’s selection as head coach. It is true that the training camp at Gettysburg transformed the team, and students were marveling over it when they came back. Boone was a hard-driving coach as depicted, but he had a great heart for the game and for his athletes. Singing among the Black athletes (including some basketball players) was a longtime tradition at T.C, usually done in the locker room. The players were allowed to wear their jerseys in school at any time, and they actually acted as a calming influence as depicted briefly in the film. I witnessed an incident where a player used moral suasion and school spirit to stop a fight that was starting.
My favorite true thing in the movie is an event I witnessed: Ron Bass’s arrival. It actually occurred at T.C. in the first week after training camp. I was with the cross-country team, warming up at the end of the track straightaway. At the other end, a fancy car drove up the ramp from the parking lot and onto the track. Everyone was amazed; cars weren’t supposed to do that. Ron (with very long hair) and a military officer in uniform (his father) got out of the car and talked to Boone, who had stopped practice and came over to them to see what was going on. Later we learned that he was a hippie quarterback from California. He was terrific, both a fine passer and a great runner. He played much more than was shown, and he always kept our opponents guessing.
Bertier was a great success in the wheelchair Olympics in the shot put and discus throw. My brother met him once in the gym in those later years, and they played ping pong. Bertier won, because he was excellent my brother says.
thanks for sharing that, really interesting!
Wow 🤩 thank you for the insight ❤ I understand both sides but I’m glad the movie was made because it brought light to an amazing time in our history ❤
Denzel is definitely a top 5 actor of all time. Personally in my top 3.
He's really good, but he's not even close. Brando, Daniel Day-Lewis, Buster Keaton, Pacino, and a whole slug of English actors who would certainly contend on any serious list.
@@jw70467 I’d agree Daniel Day Lewis is #1!
You look very young but your commentary is full of wisdom beyond your years and your beautiful smile is infectious. I love your reactions too.
Your first and only Denzel movie being Magnificent Seven is crazyyy lol...
Right lol
Wow. Denzel has an INCREDIBLE Rabbit Hole. His career and Filmography are amazing even his St Elsewhere days when he was a young pup were impressive.

I've been a fan of your video reactions ever since Band of Brothers! Your insights and enthusiasm for film are so engaging, and your gorgeous smile always brightens my day. Keep up the amazing work! Remember, God is always watching over us. Be blessed!
That "We are the Titans, mighty, mighty Titans" is a military cadence. Don't know where it started from, but we say it (with our company, battalion, etc).
More Denzel, please. 😊 PHILADELPHIA, THE PELICAN BRIEF, THE BONE COLLECTOR, and FALLEN! ❤
Out of those 3. Fallen
Just wanted to say that your output of reactions and productivity has been great recently, and it's noticed and super appreciated! Really enjoying the content.
"Attitude reflects leadership, Captain" love that line. Great movie, great reaction.
The T C Williams team was special they were about each other and showed it.
I love your reviews and applying lessons in movies to the Bible 🥰 This is a movie whose inspiration never gets old.
I was 11yrs old and I remember how we treated each other differently but not really understanding why. Looking back everyone here in THE DMV( D.C.,Maryland and Virginia) that was of age can point to Sports as the reason this area came together. Especially The Titans. I remember seeing buses and car tags from as far away as North Carolina and Pennsylvania at Titan games. We came across The Potomac River ourselves from Maryland. I saw several Washington Redskins and Baltimore Colts players and TV personalities at Titan games. I got autographs from Skins LARRY BROWN, Jack Pardee, Charley Taylor and George Allen. From the Colts, Mike Curtis, Chuck Hinton and Bubba Smith. The REDSKINS turned their 1971 season around as The city came together and rode Titan Fever all the way to the 1972 Super Bowl. We lost to the Undefeated Miami Dolphins 14-7. The first time they were held under 20 points all season.
I kinda sorta get the feeling that our Gabrielle might a football enthusiast. Just a hunch. Great reaction, as always.
Louis is the definition of “we rocking with mark because he rocking with us”
thoroughly enjoyed your reaction ... lively and real ... keep smiling ... wish i could give you two thumbs up
Nice reaction to a great movie. Can you do Miracle about the 1980 US olympic hockey team? It stars Kurt Russell, was the highest rated sports film on IMDB for years and it's very similar to this in that it explores how a coach can get a team to bond to achieve a common goal. 😊
Great job! Thanks for the BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY also!
The amount of hype you had for the final game was great. Reminded me of the feeling I had watching it for the first time so many years ago. Thank you.

Great job with this one, CB! I really enjoyed rewatching it with you. Thanks for sharing it!
What a joyful, emotional, energetic and thoughtful reaction. I love this movie and I am so glad you have now seen it and can see why it is a classic.
I got about halfway through this video and I can't stop thinking about you saying that this is only your second ever Denzel movie in the year 2024.
Ryan Gosling and Amy Adams, Emma were the only actors with speaking parts who were actually teenagers when this was filmed. the guy playing Garry was 25 and one playing Julius was 31.
Gerry had the accident sometime after the Championship. He was heavily recruited for college football. Great movie!
I love this movie, glad you caught Ryan. Great reaction
Wonderful reaction!!! It is very refreshing to watch an intelligent, funny, energetic and beautiful young woman react to such an inspirational movie. Thank you.
Loved your enthusiasm. Delightful as always. Thank you.
“That’s my brother” makes me lose it every time 😢
This movie is a absolute classic. Phenomenal acting. One of the only movies that can make me cry. Loved your reaction video.🥰🤙🏾
Your 3rd Denzel movie has to be John Q! It's a must watch. Then I'd recommend American Gangster, Training Day, and Flight. He's my second favorite actor only to Daniel Day Lewis. #Subbed
John Q is bad. Sorry. American Gangster is great however.
Thanks for the reaction. I suggest another great Denzel movie "Man On Fire" 2004
Great reaction. As always. Much love.
Another good football movie. Brian's Song. You have to do the original back in the 1970's

I got to be at a dinner at which Herman Boone attended and spoke. It was great.
Great reaction as usual. I love this film, I've lived out some of the scenes in it, like sticking up for my African American friend who was called that disgusting word we all know. To defeat racism we have to think of each other as brothers and sisters, because we are, and speak out against racists when they rear their ugly heads and hope, in time, they will learn to love everyone as we have.
You have to watch John Q!! Great movie and Denzel did a great job in that film.
Let's go. The cast is unreal
I loveee her … her vibe is so contagious
Ha... that smile lasted a couple of seconds longer than expected... and then real life took hold... even amongst this Hollywood generation... with all being recorded around me!
You are young and sweet and a Christian to boot (which means your heart is in the right place), but I am old enough to remember people thinking this way, and I am so grateful to the people who worked hard enough to make that kind of thinking unacceptable (even if some of it is still around), so you and my grandkids don't have to live like that.
Queen knows her bible lol
Worked at a call center for DirecTV once and a customer called up one day. Turns out he went to T.C. Williams during the actual season and he said the only thing people there really complain about the movie is how close they made certain games feel, when in reality, almost every single game was a blowout win.
You have, i believe, seen Glory, which also includes Denzel!
I haven’t seen Glory yet, it is on my list though
@@Californiablend Ohh, sorry to be confused about that. You will be very happy you saw it. But make sure you have some tissues, because... ya know. This one more than almost any other, except maybe Amistad.
It was awesome watching you get so invested in this team and story. You might check out Invincible, a Mark Wahlberg unbelievable true football story that will have you cheering just as loud. 👍😎❤️🔥
Love this movie. It reminds me a little of "Lean on Me" with Morgan Freeman but with football.
im so pleased you loved this. this was my favourite movie for years, love from australia mate!!
Ask any player or former football player, there isnt anything like a football team locker room. It really does push you to your limits sure but it really does form life long bonds and blends many cultures and backgorunds together. Its a beautiful thing and tbh is the thing i miss the most about the game.... my teammtes!
Thanks to Denzel. I've never missed a test question on how many feet are in a mile 😂❤
That was just fun to watch you. Great stuff.
Excellent film. Another Denzel classic. Coach MLK woulda been proud. And not too shabby yourself Californiablendy.
This was such a great reaction to a fantastic movie. Thank you for this.
I watched this movie 100 times and i never realized when he threw up the fist in the hospital that was a reference to the poster in the beginning
I’m glad I was just a baby when segregation was ending.. my mother taught me to treat everyone as I would want to be treated.. later I figured out se was teaching the way of Christ without me even knowing 🙏❤️🙏
Great reaction, love watching you ❤
That was a great reaction! I love your energy! This is one of my fav movies and this is my favourite reaction to it, for sure! Enough compliments for today! 😉
Have a good one! ✌🏻
Oh, I was just thinking about something. If you liked the movie, you will also like "Magic Johnson and Larry Bird - A courtship of rivals". Trust me, it is something you wanna watch. A great docu. Magic and Bird are something else and their friendship is a great example of how you can overcome anything, just by staying true to yourself. I really admire both of them very much! For the personalities in the first place!
No need to react to it, you can watch it on your own. It will be worth it. 👍🏻
I'm not sure if you know the reactor, Jay from EOM, but the scene when Julius is invited to Gary's house really touched him and he broke down crying. He paused the movie to share a story about how, as a black youth, he was never invited to his white friends house because their parents didn't want him there. It broke my heart to hear that. That scene now means so much more to me now.
This movie was meant to bring people together. They all acted their hearts out and told the story.
One of my fav movies ever 🙏
Watching you cheer on the football too adorable. Keep killin it Queen, SUBSCRIBED
One of the most inspirational sports films.
16:45 it’s been a long time since I legit laughed out loud. We all type LOL but I actually almost passed myself. I’m so glad I just found this channel.
I love this girls vibe 🔥
That Banana was gangster lol . The coach called him a monkey ( inferior to him ) …… then my guy Herman basically said “ this monkey just outclassed you and handed you an ssa whooping “ the banana symbolizing the ssa kicking lol
Loved every minute of this reaction 🙌🙌
My all-time favorite movie Remember The Titans!😎 2:08
You have a fantastic energy and seeing you react to this movie, which also has an incredible energy, was a joy to watch!
Thank you! 😃
The football camp was filmed that very college in Rome, Georgia. I remember the scene when they took the morning run through the woods to Gettysburg, they were almost in my backyard when they were filming that
I meant at Barry College in Rome, Georgia
Hard to pay attention to the movie you are so pretty , Your smile is contagious .
ease up on the simp mate, come on.
Why do you think she wants to hear this? "I don't care what you say or think. I just like looking at you."
Do you think women like hearing that they don't matter to you except for this?
Some other Denzel Washington movies that you should absolutely check out; Training Day, Glory, The Equalizer, Flight, and Philadelphia.
I love your smile! 😍😍😍
This is one of those "Perfect" movies. You should really look up the actor that played Louie Lastik (Ethan Suplee). You'll be ridiculously surprised at what he's turned into.
The race is human 😊
Yes. We are the human race. Skin colour is made by melanin. You can't discriminate by a substance made by a gland in human body. It's stupid.
Nice reaction young lady, enjoyed it
This girl is such a dork and I love it
This Woman is so Breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL 😮💨😂. Look at her 🫣😍
Gotta watch Glory. An all star cast
This is my favorite football movie of all time.
Beautiful reaction

You a hall of famer in my book sweetie☺
If you want to see a GREAT Denzel movie…(which they all are), you need to react to “De Ja Vu”!!!
The bulk of the movie took place the year I was born (1971).
Another denzel film u have to check out is devil in a blue dress
I like you, great reaction to an amazing film! One of Disney's best for sure. I just subscribed. 🙂
The players on the team and the coaches never had racist problems with each other, they were friends from the very start and didnt have Any issues at all. A lot of people were pretty upset when this came out because of that, including the players and others from the community...
fantastic job

8:39 most people will never understand we’re one color and that color is brown soma are light and some are dark but we are all brown.
Its a shame Disney had to, well, Disney it. There's very little that actually happened in this one. It's almost as disrespectful as Blindside or Patch Adams.
The cast did a nice job with what they had though
Great reaction!!!!
Knows scripture, beautiful, I wish my son could meet a woman like her.
I loved this movie even before I understood football! I love how they show the racial tension is it. It’s an amazing movie! More people need to see it!
