I love the song. I love this clip. I love the creature's mask, even if we can see it as fake hands gloves in a scene.
visible gloves just makes it more authentic to the mid 20th century movie era to wit they are trying to channel. most of the monster movies and alien movies had visible zippers and such. hell with "Horror of party beach" you could tell the monster's scales were made from old Naugahyde they cut from a restaurant bench seat. and in "night of the blood beast" you could see the monster wore very human shoes. a lot of studios flat out refused to sink real money into sci-fi at the time and I always found it endearing when no matter how bad the costume was; the persons in them were acting their asses off. if you pull the moves off right the kids will get scared and look away in the theaters and when they see it again on the TV the old analog and coaxial signal will blur out the bad bits of the costumes and the kids will be behind the couch trying to hide from the monster on the screen. if you know film and TV cinematography issues in the 50s and 60s there are a tonne of easter eggs including ultra close ups for TV 480i NTSC analog screen adaption vertical overscan top clipping on uncentered shots which was a problem with finicky potentiometers of vertical hold and screen display position, centering action rather than playing entirely to widescreen and much more.
everything got so refined in the 80s/90s and now we just don't see much good from CGI. something was lost along the way and Hollywood Burns definitely has recaptured the aesthetic of the era so well.

This is one of the most original pieces of music I've heard (not that I'm an expert though lol). I absolutely adore the sampled and stuttered screams at the end, they work amazingly well!!
