Im watching from Kingston, Jamaica. I'm absolutely mesmerized by this type of farming and will be doing it myself. Hopefully, to grow to a commercial scale. These videos really help.
Thank you from America for such an information packed video on the vegetable gardening program. I wish you guys all the best! Please continue to share your valuable experiences and knowledge with all of humanity worldwide!
Soo good thank you to this bloke for sharing everything . I really appreciate it cheers from New Zealand . Thank you hoocho for showing me how easy hydro can be im only running kratky atm but plans have been made and the nft is going to be up shortly. You are doing a good thing well done!
Greetings from the USA 🇺🇸 Love your setup! Would love to see how you built it from the ground up! My husband and I are about to purchase a home 🏡 with some land and are looking to do this sort of thing along with raising animals. Thanks for sharing!
🍻 cheers Hoocho, always got an eye out for quality companies to give all my 💸💰...we just need them to always be reachable and willing to assist customers, and to be stocking high quality products.
My dad sent me this as I wanna try my hands and markets with my NFT system. I'm still a newbie when it comes to the water part still. Good to know about the E.C. cuz I havnt been using it. My bok choy came out super bitter n I was clueless as to why
Great video! This gets me excited about what I could grow one day! I'd love to know more about the greenhouse, if you don't mind sharing. How is the greenhouse anchored to the ground? It looks like the bases sits on a concrete slab?
Dang, I'm chill here, an I suddly hear 'prices in Australia' Now I'm really interested, been most vids I found are in USA, Micronesia, outside FB sharing pics, I have found little Oz vid info. Not even seen 'market' vids outside USA.
Yes Hoocho ! You need to sell the end caps and float covers. Get someone in China to mass produce them .. And then drop ship from China to us Hydro novices and Hydro market greenhouses
This channel is friggin amazing. Absolutely love it. I need to find an agronomist in Scotland to give me a little advice on a system I plan on building in a few months.
Hi There, can you tell me which farmers markets are they at? I’d like to go visit, I’m in the North of Brisbane and would like to do a day visit if possible. Never mind, it’s mentioned at the end. Thanks.
Hi Hoocho. I noticed htat you said the temperature inside the greenhouse is 30 degrees. How do you prevent lettuce to bolt at these temperatures?. As far as I have learnt lettuce grows best between 16-22 degrees and tends to bolt and get bitter at higher temperatures. Btw, I live on the South-wes tcoast of Norway.
btw you dont need to pump constantly there can be intervals like 15 minutes vor every hour or so. This way you can cut energy costs and not waste energy
Hey man, thanks a lot for your vdeos, it has been so hellpfull to watch them, i need to ask, how much water solution can i put to a 1000 lettuce plant?? in hydroponic system
Hoocho, you have shown us many Hydroponic systems, but the purpose of your channel as you have said is to make Hydroponics affordable to everyone. If you take out pumps and electricity, that just leaves the passive systems. What has been your most successful passive system and what type of dry nutrients are you using and how do you mix it for say a 100 litre reservoir
Hi Hoocho Great video you are very good teacher. Little question: The tips of the center leaves of my romaine lettuce are black. The EC is at 1.4 the PH is at 7 Es that it is the lack of ventilation. And if I wont to send you a picture is this possible. Because I think a photo worth 1000 words.
Hoping you can help answer a question about the Greenhouse material. I'm looking at making a smaller residential one and was looking for that sort of opaque plastic. Looking on Amazon I really only come across Clear or White. Would yours be considered white?
hey there i am studying hydroponics and aquaponics to see if i can start a small rack for testing at home. can i ask if its better to do this indoor or outdoor ? do i really need a pump timer for this ? what other gadgets are required ? like PH level tester etc... thank you
I wouldn't sell out of the rain gutters or vinyl fencing pieces. Its made from soft plasterized vinyl which over time leaches out nasty stuff, over time. Use only Schedule 40 water pipe etc but NO no soft plasterized vinyl's. Per chemical engineers etc. Other wise nice set up and good ambitions to get away from all the chemicals and fungicides etc. Rain gutters and fence pieces were chosen awhile back by a particular You Tuber because of low costs and a single (not over time) water test that isn't correct in totaling the outcome for accurate water test. Everyone has copied using these unwise materials. Use only Hard solid Schedule 40 for your Hydroponics and listen to the experts. Thanks for sharing
If you package lettuce and other plants with the roots still attached from your NFT systems and they don’t sell, can you bring them back home from the farmers market and place them back in the NFT troughs and keep them going?
I’ve often through about the idea of a living food display, where you have an NFT like display fixture on a shop wall and just move stock from the main grow area, into the shop. Perhaps even under soft lighting.
Would love to see more from this greenhouse grower. How the green house is built, the seedling propagation, produce picking and packaging.

my Vincentian friend is also looking to do this in vincy. good luck 😊
Do a video on the lettuce fertilizer
Best video ive seen. And this good ole guy makes me so happy😊

That was such an exhaustive and insightful video, thanks for sharing it
Thanks sharing, and thanks to internet
Watched this one over the weekend. Gives me some hope for the future 😉😁
Cheers Hoocho. 🌱👍
What I love is Bobs Commercial farming history and how he hangs his hydro tomatoes differently!! Thanks for sharing
From an American to another great aussie and hydroponics !!! Great video mate !
👏 living the dream, brilliant
Another great Hoocho's segment. Thank you for visiting and sharing Rob's farm. Way to grow Rob!

my fave hooch by far.
Amazing, all the best...
Awesome watch!
Fantastic video. Interesting and informative. Thank you for sharing guys.
Amazing, can we have a 2023 version for heat climates?
Bloody fantastic set up Rob! I’ve now got grow envy going on lol
Top job Rob and a top bloke👍👍
Green house goals! 🥰
Great, informative video. Would love to hear more from Rob!
wow your hydroponic garden is so amazing
Rob, thanks for sharing the knowledge and the experience!!
One of the best hydroponic farming thank you
Envious. I have a little room here in Tokyo growing some lettuce and basil in two hydroponics towers.
Brilliant well set up greenhouse…being able to supply produce like that is a credit to your knowledge and wisdom of hydroponics
Very interesting. And a pleasant way of living
Thanks bro that was a good watch, I’m about to grow a few tomatoes in my front yard.
Great video... Alot of information.... A major part of doing hydroponics is getting your produce on the market.
Dude, the level of detail was amazing. Great video.
New to the channel but love the level of detail you go into. A new subscriber here!
great interview......i also am a grower

Throw a compost pile next to GH to conduct heat during the winter
Awesome
I love a very nice set up and green house. But how about the submersible pump using what is the ideal pump . ?
Yes Hoocho ! You need to sell the end caps and float covers.

"Mate, you helped me build half this greenhouse, of course you can have the bloody seeds" Lmao I love aussies!
Great content
🙏👏 Everything looks incredibly tasty. The tomatoes were amazing too
Can we have some more details on the chives in hydro system info? That was super interesting and have anecdotally noticed the same in our own system.
Nice video. The planting pots and seedling trays can be useful in this greenhouse?
Do you guys not get thrips with lettuce and tomatoes so close? That has always been my problem
Rare for me 2 see thrips, aphids & caterpillar moth/ Heliothis are my main issues, but easy 2 fix with organics
This channel is friggin amazing. Absolutely love it.
I need to find an agronomist in Scotland to give me a little advice on a system I plan on building in a few months.
The pipes look open ... how is the water staying inside. Ive heard something about a 3 inch fold... is this what he was referring to???
Great video!

Root temperature plays a large role, keeping the nutrient temp low helps.
Great video. I have a 3D printer, would love to help out with the end caps.
Look into perlite in mesh bags as perlite is 100% reusable with minimal loss with spent root balls and it works perfectly for any flowing system.
love your videos . so very inspiring keep it up
Where do y'all get 4mm and 8mm tubing? Bunnings bottoms out at 13mm for the most part, with the odd attachment for 4mm to 13mm
What size greenhouse is that? How many reservoirs are you running?
btw you dont need to pump constantly there can be intervals like 15 minutes vor every hour or so. This way you can cut energy costs and not waste energy

Would love information on how to setup a system like thsi
Amazing produce I wish mine looked like that. :)
Where did you get all the materials? Roofing, walls, tubing etc?
why doesnt he put 3 seeds into the corner of each jiffy peet pod then separate them?
Will you do a another tour of this place now that a year has passed?
Anyone know what kind of plastic that is? what thickness and what percentage of sun it blocks?
Come on Hoocho must be time for a re-cap update on this grower, would like to see an update on the systems
He posted regularly on the Facebook group till he sold the place
@@Hoocho dont do face book - shame he sold, he had a nice set up
@robcross996 great to here - look forward to it,
Hoping you can help answer a question about the Greenhouse material. I'm looking at making a smaller residential one and was looking for that sort of opaque plastic.
Looking on Amazon I really only come across Clear or White. Would yours be considered white?
Where do you find an agronimost to design your nutrients for you? That's amazing!
can you fill nft with clay balls and direct plant?
yes you can, but you have to water more frequently if not constantly
great video, where can get those white channels?
Time to expand production capacity, there is a looming food crisis.
Excellent and informative video, well done and thank you. Is it too much to ask about design details, plans & a cut list for the greenhouse?
Where did he buy the tomato seeds from mate?
I know in America the Agricultural department has free sponsored Green house programs if you have the land to put it on
Hoocho ya leg, wheres old mates market?? I want to eat some tomatoes! And how come i've never seen you at yandina markets?!
@Hoocho..... really c*nt? tryna scam people watching hydro videos. get a real job.
There's no substitute for experience
What are the dimension of the green house? Thanks in advance.
Sir What kind of solution did you use
What is the size of the green house?
That was so fking brilliant

Bluelab EC and PH meters are definitely the way to go

How often should you change your water for a hydro system for one plant?
Where can I get these grow “tubes”??
Which market can I try your produce rob? Ah pamona
