    Airburshing anything but water based paint without proper ventilation/PPE is super hazardous. I love this alternative

    • @DessinDesignNails
      @DessinDesignNails  Год назад +14

      Glad to hear that! 'gel' airbrushing is so popular these days, it just screams hazard when I see it done with no protection 🫠

    • @Jasmine.Arredondo
      @Jasmine.Arredondo 4 месяца назад

      Do water based paints still cause hazard? I’ve tried so many techniques but don’t look as flawless as the airbrush does. Any suggestions?

      @@DessinDesignNails It's just about the worst thing you can aerosolize. It's an objectively bad idea to airbrush any kind of polish, but especially gel polish. Thank you for this, I've never been able to get the sponge technique to work but I'm gonna try your method!

    Wow, I’m shocked you’re channel isn’t more popular. Your video thumbnails are all beautifully designed (and so are your nails of course 😊). I never would’ve thought to use a makeup sponge 😮. Thank you kindly for the tutorial!!!

      If I has to guess why, because the words are too small, at the bottom of the screen and there is no voice over. If you're trying to do your nails along with the video you'll have to keep rewinding to catch the words.

    Wonder if a nail sponge brush (made for gradient nails & common on AE or amazon) would work or if they’re too absorbent?

    • @DessinDesignNails
      @DessinDesignNails  2 года назад +23

      oh 100%!! That's exactly what I'm trying to mimic here! I use makeup sponges here since its more easily accessible and like $1-2 for a whole bunch in comparison. If you have those that would probably work even better since they're already nicely rounded!

    • @DessinDesignNails
      @DessinDesignNails  2 года назад

      Overlay is usually a layer of product placed over the natural nail that doesn't extend it in any way. I use a a runny builder gel thats thicker than most top coats to smooth out the surface if its really bumpy 🙂
