Băile Homorod (Homorod Bath, Homoródfürdő - in Hungarian) are a small spa resort on the western flank of the Harghita Mountains, being crossed along its entire length (about 1 km) by the road that connects Miercurea Ciuc (34 km east) to Odorheiu Secuiesc (18 km west). Great attention, because I saw gross errors on the Internet: there was confusion with the former resort of Băile Homorod, located about 45 km south, in the northwest part of Brasov county. At Băile Homorod (of Braov) there are muddy volcanoes and former salt baths now destroyed, while at Băile Homorod (of Harghita) there are carbonated sparkling mineral waters and a small active spa resort. The area of mineral springs at Băile Homorod, probably known from Roman times (two Roman camps nearby), underwent a special development in the 19th century, culminating with the 1890s, when the springs were catched, villas were built , restaurants, alleys and pavilions for fanfare. During the communist period the resort experienced a decline, the buildings taken over by the state being transformed into a school camp. The fall of communism (1989) finds the resort at an advanced stage of degradation, being practically unused. In recent years, the Homorod Baths resort has experienced a spectacular turnaround that began with the construction of the Lobogó Pension and which gradually developed into a beautiful tourist complex that occupies the eastern part (towards Miercurea Ciuc) of the resort. The Lobogó tourist complex comprises: initial pension (restaurant, terrace, accommodation space), Lobogó mineral spring, wellness center (heated, sweet and salt water swimming pools, sauna, Turkish bath, salt room, accommodation space, etc.), ski slope with ski lift, multifunctional sports ground, other accommodation, outdoor heated pool, horse riding center, terrace-grill, handicraft shops and local products. Also, the western part of the resort was renewed with villas and pensions and the existing hotel-restaurant was modernized. Although there is no treatment base with qualified medical personnel, the carbonated mineral waters of the Băile Homorod (Homorod Bath) are recommended in internal treatment for chronic gastritis with hypoacidity, chronic liver and biliary tract disorders, and in external treatment for cardiovascular diseases.

@@LucianIonescu Susțin ceea ce ați scris. Și eu sunt româncă, am stat în Cj am cunoscut maghiari, am fost în zona lor , chiar sunt mult mai sociabili și zâmbitori. Chiar îmi sunt dragi că se străduie să comunice cu noi când mergem la ei în zonă.
Merg de fiecare dată cu drag , avem ce vizita la ei, preturile sunt de bun simț etc.
Eu m am înțeles fb cu ei oricând ,pt mine toți suntem oameni pe acest pământ, indiferent de culoare , cultură,etc.🤗🤗

Stimate domn, nu prea îmi dau seama ca ați vrut să spuneți. În primul rând, comportamentul antisemit nu are legătură cu videoclipul de față, nici cu românii, nici cu maghiarii. Antisemitismul, și asta este un lucru elementar care ar trebui știut, se referă numai și numai la o atitudine potrivnică evreilor (nu și împotriva altor popoare). În DEX scrie așa: „Antisemitism = Atitudine (politică, socială etc.) ostilă față de evrei”. În al doilea rând, și eu sunt român sadea, din fiu în tată, așa că este de-a dreptul ciudat că mă bănuiți pe mine că aș avea ceva împotriva folosirii limbii române.
