Thank you for watching and your thoughtful comments! I really learn so much from you all and your insights. I see that this video is a bit dated and since then, the boys have grown quite a bit! By doing that, each year the top percentage of best students in each subject are found. It is highly prestigous and competitive - and I think RM was in the top 1-3 % in two (?) subjects which is awfully impressive.

The older introduction videos portray suga as the "grumpy, cold, savage, introverted" guy but in reality he's the sweetest person to exist. He is introverted and kinda quiet compared to the others but he's not grumpy or cold. We lovingly call him lil meow meow. And yeah all 7 of them love each other so much its amazing
He looks sassy but in reality he is the most patient and understanding member...and super responsible especially to the younger members...
BTS doesn't have a specific sound to their music, all of their music is so diverse which is why we just say BTS has their own genre. You can see many different sounds in 1 song, the song can begin very sad then become so upbeat. There isn't really a theme in many of their songs. So basically we never know what to expect from them
I've been an army since 2013, when I was 13.I liked kpop since I was 10, roaming through the internet aimlessly. Their message hooked me immediately and their videos helped me tremendously in coping in an abusive household with no way of escaping. I remember having to stream in all of my devices just to get their MVs to 1M views, and logging into korean streaming sites in order to vote. I remember when they won their first music show award. And all of their achievements ever since. It's kinda wild because I'm 21 now, Jungkook is literally my older brother's age. It's been almost a decade with them. I have never once regretted it.

Omg your story is so similar to mine, I first found BTS when they debuted in 2013 and I was a similar age to you and grew up in an abusive household, BTS were definitely my coping mechanism and felt like I grew up with them, now in 2020 being 22 years old and looking back at the memories, BTS helped me make good memories and my pride of them is so huge, I feel like we're friends and at the same time I am so thankful for their existence and persistence and hard work. Thank you for sharing your story, glad I found someone to relate to

I'm here to talk about Suga because usually no one talks about him. People may try to portray Suga as "bad boy" or "cold guy", but it is not true at all. It means they didn't bother to dive deeper into his personality. He had difficultes in expressing his emotions but he is more open now and if you compare his past-self and his present-self - he is a lot happier now. Yes, he is an introvert, but being an introvert doesn't mean being cold or shy. He can also be goofy, loud and he has great sense of humor.
His music is always honest and personal. He is great storyteller and you can understand his emotions even without knowing the lyrics because he uses his voice as an instrument. He is not afraid to talk about mental health when it is not common to talk about it openly in his country.
He is the only member of BTS who is an established producer. He produces not only for his solo work and for BTS but also for other artists and winning awards for his work.
In conclusion he is amazing producer, composer, lyricist and rapper. And he is kind, patient, thoughtful and very strong person.
The truth is SUGA Is my biased as well. His personality and taste of music was the reason why I fell so hard into this hole. I love him so much I listen to his music a lot. 💜💜💜💜💜

Yes! I absolutely love Suga, I know this video is a bit dated but I did get the sense that he’s a deeply considerate and kind person. I felt like I resonated a lot with his personality especially as an introvert myself who sometimes has difficulty expressing my own emotions but loves to uplift others whenever I can (something I noticed him do quite a bit in this video)! I can’t wait to get to know him better as he’s grown!
@ 💜💜 try to watch SOOP or bon voyage or bts Run you'll get to know them more especially SUGA and his other sides. His really mature and quiet but at the same time his trying hard to mingle with others and oh! His a good cook as well.
By the way, these introduction videos can give you preconceive ideas of how each BTS members are but they don't always tell the whole story. To truly know the members is to dive into the BTS with an open mind, watch original content from Big Hit or from their Vlive. They are all special in their own way and we, Army, love them all equally. The reason why I fell for BTS is their dynamic and bond with each other. I genuinely feel like they share a love for each other that transcends beyond bandmates and friends. They're happy for each other's happiness and sad for each other's sadness.

Here's my favorite thing about Namjoon (RM) & Yoongi (Suga): insane INSANE rappers. Will destroy all comers. But they're also two of the most randomly adorable humans. RM has the nickname "God of Destruction" because he's a walking disaster... things fall apart/fall over/don't work. He literally almost knocked over their album display during an interview just the other day & I just love him for it 😂 He's also a genius in the real sense of the word which is fun. And I have no idea if its still a thing but he has a thing about finding tiny crabs on vacation & being like tiny-kid-at-Christmas excited about them. ADORABLE. Suga (IMO) has just as big a heart as Jimin & J-Hope, he's just more subtle with it. He just had to have surgery on his shoulder & so he's been on the sidelines for their latest comeback. But he went live after the album came out just to reassure ARMY he was doing ok. He does whatever the others want him to do (most of the time) to make them happy. He's often compared to a cat because...well... you have a cat, you know how they are. He totally is one 😹
I mention these 2 specifically only because with their unground rap background... watching them go from their savage tracks to being adorable & not having either cancel the other out blows my mind 😑💜

As a Yoongi biased myself, his edgy vibes and savage personality was really attractive to me. But he is also a softie and cares a LOT and he used to secretly take care of the members but also tried to keep the "cool" persona. He wasn't very expressive as he is now due to his social phobia he would stay quiet and spoke when needed. But also Yoongi loves being pampered to and now that is is more expressive we are seeing a whole soft squishy caring fluffy vibe to him.

They usually don't add this to BTS vids but Jimin actually learned popping and hip hop first and has done contemporary and ballet for a shorter time but he was so good a teacher payed his tuition for the arts high school he attended and was pretty sad about him deciding to be an idol instead of dancer overseas. Usually people associate Jimin with contemporary but he can do many styles and has a lot of different backgrounds in martial arts which is why he usually does the stunts in choreo. Jimin is definately a lover and very flirty and is usually all over every member lol. All the boys are multitalented. RM, Jhope, and Suga produce and write a lot, all the boys help with lyrics and production as well. Jin went to acting school b4 BTS, Junkook is good at just about anything, and V is amazing with photography. Sorry it's so long lol 💜

another thing, bts members are impossible to box into one image. they're nothing like a boyband in that sense. there's no "lover boy", "bad boy" and stuff like that, they're complex, real people. they are popular BECAUSE they are genuine and BECAUSE they don't have those manufactured industry images of themselves. so yeah, i hope while you're on this journey you slowly start to get rid of that western image of bands when it comes to understanding bts specifically. this isn't criticism or anything, i love your reaction, it's just a heads up :)

Here’s my advise if you plan on getting really into them: This video is a little outdated. The members have grown up a lot and the fan base and their accomplishments have also grown. Their personalities and hobbies have changed a bit since then, however, you have all the time in the world to dive into the “BTS Universe”. Take your time and enjoy everything. Also, You’re gonna get a lot of Army recommendations from funny videos to songs. Again, enjoy it at your own pace. I recommend listening to all of their music starting in order from oldest to newest, same for music videos. Watch oldest to newest, it’ll help with the parallel universe storyline that you’ll eventually learn about. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY !

Jungkook is a cinematographer. Also loves to films and edit the videos. Funfact: The recent Life Goes On MV which was released on 20th November was directed by Jungkook himself. JK was the main director of the whole music video. He has got artistic vision. Also he is not just called as Golden Maknae for nothing 😉. He is literally good or say above average in everything. He is a great painter and also very athletic person. And this video is bit old now. 23 years Jungkook is totally different and hits hard. His on stage persona is very sexy and off stage he becomes cute little bunny Kookie. And also Jungkook also produces and writes his own music. He has lots of English covers. Here are couple of his solo songs Euphoria(EDM genre), Euphoria acoustic version, Still with you (Modern Jazz genre), My Time (Punk rock genre with trap beat), Begin (EDM). These are all B-side tracks so it doesn't have any music videos.
