I think the dps on this unit might be suspect. It's worth noting that the Eikþyrnir in question was on the story map, therefore notably lacked divine strength and atk/def excel. Granted, it's ruptured sky procs vs lethality, but at the same time lethality vs all the special DR and damage cut in the game I just have so many questions at the current moment and not enough clarity on answers.
We debated for a solid 30 minutes over whether his damage output is enough. I honestly don’t know. This is another unit I’d really like to test. We’ll have to try him out on Friday.

It is very IS's fault that Ike is the benchmark. If we had Flash status as a counter, he wouldn't be as big of a problem and stuff like that would be a great equalizer. We still have Hardy Bearing but if that unit goes down, your entire backup strategy is gone.
"Sometimes that is interesting" = this kind of bad and will age very fast. But overall, Arena will be now unplayable for the next months, cause there could be potentially Celica, SGulveig with C Ring and Chez...so any Map will be too small and my tanks can't take them...
I actually like his kit. His condition for global warp and Pass requires a nuke or a sweep ally for him to work completely. He seems balanced which is a nice improvement.
I disagree that Ratatoskr’s divine vein hasn’t panned out, especially in a world where the Celica ring and Felix exist. The fact it triggers after her action AND after canto means you can cover a surprisingly large area. You do have to be wary about it overwriting stone terrain if you use that too, but you only really need one tile of stone terrain for the unit standing on it so you can still set up greenery around it and have the best of both worlds.
I used to play this game a lot, summoner duel especially, I had a Seliph/Ninian/Arval team (Synergy probably wasn't that good). I cameback and out of 15 duels I couldn't do damage in 14 of them. Its kinda sad as I am casual and just wanna play heroes I like. I've been looking at many videos of feh content creator to understand stuff but its so complicated when new heroes kit take the whole screen. So here I am, fishing so advices about the basics.
Does keeping similar archetypes in the same season serve as a way of balancing counterplay? If the red daggers are too broken at least they are groups so that can be predicted and countered at the same time?
i feel like this unit was made just because they had to, brings nothing to the table in AR, on SD i believe he kills but his weapon is kinda useless because you don't do so many combats per turn. nothing special after that. Also lol showcase against Eik but he had no skills basically. Also trivia his lines in the "meet the heroes" are just copied and pasted from the female version. Just like Alear
Update: He's... good? like he's Celica but awkward way better at sniping. If you pair him with someone like Alfonse or even Nergal LF4 on AR-D he can score cheesy kills effortlessly he's cancer, way more than Celica for sure
I summoned a couple copies of Ninja Zelgius and have been trying to use him on an AR D-line. He does . . . poorly against Emblem Ike, so seeing him as one of the units that the new Legendary just slaughters . . . well, it tracks.
Even though the next red options suck untill the end of the year, it feels pretty safe to guess him returning in November and Nidhoggr should be released there as a dark mythic. Worrying for Hraevelgr... From the looks of things, we might get a pulse giving special jump and I would want one haha.
Dude this is why i continuously dont trust you lol. This Eik has no Atk/DEF axcel or his prf B. Him having lethality wouldnt make much of a difference in this showcase as it would still beat Eik given that his 2 best skills are stripped from him.
As someone who uses emblem Celica, can confirm while her nuking is nutty (literally my only answer to E!Ike) it isn’t broken like we saw with V!Lyon before BoL4. What is broken is her range and how she can choose her foes to nuke
He's really not up to par with how most legendary units have been. Certainly not up to par with emblem units! And we are in a new generation now after CYL so we expect stronger. But it's OK to slow down on power creep.
I think he’s a really good unit, but I’m still surprised by his kit. I really expected more this Atk/Spd Finish from 2 years ago. Also, can you believe Atk/Spd finish is 2 years old?
Update: From his GHB we can see how overestimated he was. Just had generic Cyl Alphonse, a green unit, take 0x4 from boosted stats Shez...His DPS is REALLY bad.
So my first question to anyone is going to be is M Shez going to be better than his female counterpart and/or is it worth it if I already have her at +5? 🤔 His art though like her’s is great too.👍🏼
I think this Shez could be a neat utility character. But is a bad merge project. His killing ability is suspect, and he doesn't offer any support. The next warping dagger will complete replace him
I feel strangely pretty meh on l!mShez. I have a +10 l!fShez myself and she didn't age well sadly, though she is a way more egoistical unit. Still I think this one won't age very good either. At some point we will get a true warp bubble and with his fire power I give him half a year at best. Definitely a skip for me, but I wish everyone the best luck, who wants to get him! :)
The thing with Alfonse is even without his special, his ideal team is 4 Mila's and an Ash to run 99 atk/99 def build. His b skill forces attack drop by 25 in that scenario that also isn't ignored by Lethality due to how the skills interact, meaning unless Shez is sporting 70 attack at neutral he's looking to also struggle against offense Alfonse.

@@mr.ozington6221 Emblem Marth and Celica should rerun now in September. Emblem Rings carry a bunch of status for free for any unit. And ofc they are already strong units So I put them a priority to merge.
Shez seems like a good tech option for ARD. But, she's a legendary, so I'd only want to use her half the time. I also don't need Ike or Lumera, so this is an easy skip. I'll be going hard for the new emblem next month, most likely

If you’re looking for a merge project, stick with female Shez. Legendary merges are pretty expensive. I do like male Shez as a one off, though.
He's Emblem Celica, but red, has a bit of defense, and has some... questionable firepower. We'll see how he fares when he's released.
